Toyo Ito has been awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize. Ito’s practice has built libraries, houses, parks, theatres, shops, office buildings and pavilions (including the Serpentine’s summer pavilion in 2002) internationally, a selection of which can be seen in the slideshow above. The award ceremony will take place in May, in Boston, where Ito will be rewarded £62,000.
