Aritst Matt Saunders has been named winner of the 2013 Jean-François Prat Prize, reports Andrew Russeth of GalleristNY. The honor, now in its second edition, bestows Saunders a monetary gift of $25,600 and a two-month-long exhibition at the law offices of Bredin Prat in Paris, which inaugurated the prize in memory of art collector Jean-François Prat, who died in 2011. Shortlisted for the prize were Guillaume Bresson and Mathieu Cherkit, who will each receive $2,600.
