Christopher Wool and his gallery Luhring Augustine are being sued for six million dollars each by New York–based print studio Brand X Editions, reports Dan Duray of the New York Observer. The studio claims that Wool has violated the terms of a production agreement over a monoprinting process that was, according to the complaint, “created, developed, and perfected” by the studio's master printer Robert Blanton. The gallery has yet to be reached for comment.
