
Eric O. Anyah Appointed CFO at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, announced yesterday the appointment of Eric O. Anyah as its executive vice president and chief financial officer, reports Dan Duray of GalleristNY. Previously the executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he directed the strategic financial planning for the museum that involved $900 million in endowment and pension funds, Anyah earned a BA at the University of Illinois at Chicago in art history, as well as a MS in accounting. Before joining the Art Institute in 2003, he also held finance positions at the Leadership Council for Metropolitan Open Communities and the University of Chicago. Founded in 1900, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, is among the ten largest art museums in the United States. Anyah will begin his new post in October.
