有着悠久历史和灿烂文化的北方名城---张家口“塞外明珠”。

　　画家张刚——就是生长在山峦起伏、丘陵与河谷盆地的坝上“明珠”之城。

　　小时候的张刚和奶奶在农村里长大的，那时候的张刚没有电脑和电视，连奶奶家里的电灯也没有。而张刚在做什么呢？也许唯一的就父母带来的小人书就是他的爱好，也许就在奶奶旁边一边看着一边临摹着小人书，也许在这个小人书里临摹着他的未来。但是，他那时候也永远不知道他的未来是画家。

　　长大的张刚，离开了他的奶奶和父母来到了天津。在和他的一个哥们玩耍的时候，他的哥们劝道张刚“还是画画吧”。张刚也随意拿起了画笔就画起来了，这一画就是那么多年。他去考过央美、清华、天美等等学院，在清华还考了第三名。这些考试只说明他的美术专业上有一定的功底，也许文化课上面弱了一点。所以，种种原因也没有上美院的机会。后来因为这些他也没有放弃绘画，在朋友的介绍下在石家庄一带美术学校里教高考生，美术教学给他奠定了一个画家的梦想。我知道他的这一路走来是一个不平坦的路，但是他很坚信自己的路。

　　所以，张刚的人物画都是在路上。也许是有终点，也许是无终点，也许是走不完的、忙不完的……

　　张刚的绘画是反映城市里的快节奏人群，描绘了每个人的事、神态、环境等等。似乎等待他们的是什么？或许发生什么？画面的红调子让人更加的热火……

　　也许他（张刚）和他画面的人物一样，一路过来的……，这些反映了作者本人和他们一起巡视着当今艺术时代的生活。

　　那么，画家反映的在时间上指的是今天的艺术，在内涵上也主要指具有现代精神和具备现代语言的艺术。张刚不仅表现如此，之所以现在的展览普遍用“当代艺术”，是因为用“现代艺术”的名词容易与已有过的“现代派艺术”混淆，同时，“当代艺术”所体现的不仅有“现代性”，还有艺术家基于今日社会生活感受的“当代性”，艺术家置身的是今天的文化环境，面对的是今天的现实，所以张刚的作品就必然反映出今天的时代特征。这就是“当代艺术”。那么，张刚的艺术正是反映了中国当代民众的快、忙、热火、无止境事……。从当代人的生活出发，抓住了时间和时空，用艺术的表现手法去表现自己的迷茫。用当代的技法体现出自己迷茫之路。也许是十字街头？也许是无止境？也许是……？它就是当代艺术。

　　人们面对当代艺术作品时都有一种情结或直觉的判断，就是它有什么艺术价值。就是对于艺术家、对于从事艺术史研究与批评的人来讲，也是一样，无非后者的理解更多元、更多了理论框架的铺陈。但艺术性的问题与当代艺术无法回避，玩艺术和记时、记事艺术不一样，玩艺术是在：形式上、技法上、材料上等等玩法。甚至也是人们攻讦当代艺术的一个着力点：当代艺术太简单、没有艺术性、谁都会玩等等。而张刚的人物画艺术就不一样了，即是记时、记事、记路等等。他不是来玩艺术，而他的艺术作品谁都玩不起。他是进入到艺术性为艺术目的和意图服务的境地中，艺术性由于其语境的特殊，已经溶入到艺术表现的多元汇合中，无法用一种方法或形式去指涉艺术性是一种形式关注，他的画面恰恰是超越于形式的心理形式、观念形式、情感形式，是由于艺术历史文化的建构和生活的积淀，艺术已经被赋予的形式含义灌注到了艺术家的作品表现中。

　　这一点是许多艺术家追求自我、突出其艺术身份时不能忽略的。由于我们有了一个强大的艺术历史参照物，对艺术概观和心理契合的把握，成为艺术家能否提升出自己的艺术性表现的关键。然而，文化也是不可缺少的。

蒙克《呐喊》

　　我读过蒙克《呐喊》。表现主义是艺术家通过作品着重表现内心的情感，而忽视对描写对象形式的摹写，因此往往表现为对现实扭曲和抽象化的这个做法尤其用来表达恐惧的情感，因此，主题欢快的表现主义作品很少见。而张刚的画，从手法上可以说是表现的技法，但是，他已经变了表现。他应该是表现技法的写实、纪实主义。他的扭曲和抽象化对人物的形体也没有什么扭曲、抽象表现，他是自己跟着画面的时代奏起了他的音符的扭曲和抽象。即有他的表现快节奏人群，描绘了每个人的事、神态、环境等等音乐感和抽象感。他没有表达恐惧的情感，而有疑虑、快乐、忙碌等等。可以说反映了这些是他的表现主义的另一想法，那就是当代艺术的表现，即是记时、记事表现主义。

　　说到这里，我总觉的张刚每天都有不同的形式感的画面出现，我也希望他有更多的题材、更多的表现、更多的当代、更多的手法出现在我的眼前。也希望他的红色交响乐越画越红、越唱越红。

Perhaps his only hobby is picture books that parents gave him. Maybe he was just next to the grandmother looking at the picture books while copying them.maybe he was copying his future in this picture books. But, at that time he never knew he is a painter in the future.

　　When Zhang gang grew up, He left his parents and grandmother then came to tianjin. When he was playing with a friend, the friend said to him" You go for painting". Zhang gang just randomly picked up the brush and painted, then he has been painting for many years. He went to test over the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Academy, etc. and he has taken the third place in Tsinghua. These exams only shows that he has some knowledge of the fine arts, maybe a little weak on culture classes. Therefore, there is no opportunity for him going to the Academy of Fine Arts for various reasons. Even those reasons, he did not give up painting On the recommendation of a friend, He taught in high school of fine arts examinee in shijiazhuang area. Art teaching makes him a painter's dream. I know he's along the way is a bumpy road, But he was convinced that his way.

　　So, all of zhang gang's figure paintings are on the way. Maybe there is the end, perhaps no end, perhaps go finish and endless ......

　　Zhang Gang's painting is a reflection of the city's fast-paced crowd, depicting everyone's thing, demeanor, environment and so on. What seems to be waiting for them? What might happen? Red tone makes the screen more heat ......

　　Maybe he (Zhang Gang) with the characters in his paintings, all on the way ...... these reflect the author and they visited the art of living in today's era together.

　　So, painters works is the art of today, it mainly refers to the meaning of the art with a modern spirit and modern languages. Zhang Gang, not only that, the reason why the exhibition is now generally use the "contemporary art" because of "modern art" in terms of easy and that there had been "modern art" confusion. Meanwhile, the "contemporary art" is not only reflected in "modernity", as well as the artist's life experience based on today's society, "contemporary." Exposure of today's artists and cultural environment, in the face of today's reality, so Zhang Gang's work is bound to reflect the characteristics of the times today. This is the "contemporary art." Well, art is a reflection of Zhang Gang contemporary Chinese people's fast, busy, Heat, endless things ....... And Zhang Gang of portraits of art is not the same , that is, the time, the thing, the road and so on. He was not playing art, and his art anyone afford . He is into the position of artistic purpose and intent of the arts service. Due to its special artistic context , it has been integrated into diverse confluence of artistic expression , and you can not go by a way or form is a form of referential artistic concern. His picture is just beyond the forms of psychological form , form concepts , emotional form , is due to the construction of historical and cultural heritage of art and life, the meaning of art has been given in the form of infusion into the performance of the artist 's works .

　　This is the pursuit of many artists themselves, while highlighting its artistic identity can not be ignored. Because we have a strong history of art reference, an overview of art and psychological fitness grasp the key artists can enhance their own artistic expression. However, culture is indispensable.

　　I've read Munch "The Scream." Expressionist works by the artist focuses on the performance of inner feelings, but neglected to describe an object in the form of facsimile, so often manifested as distortions of reality and abstraction, in particular, this approach is used to express the emotion of fear. 　　Here, I think Zhang Gang in different forms every day feeling screen appears, I hope he has more themes, more performance, more contemporary doctrine, tactics appearing more in my eyes . I hope his red symphony getting better and better.
