美国Leslie Hindman3月亚洲艺术品专场拍卖

  美国芝加哥Leslie Hindman Auctioneers 拍卖行将分别于三月二十五日与三月二十六日上午10点(北京时间晚上11点)在美国芝加哥Leslie Hindman Auctioneers拍卖室进行亚洲艺术专场拍卖。并将于三月二十四日中午12 点(北京时间凌晨1 点)推出网上鼻烟壶专场拍卖。

       此次亚洲专场的拍品涵盖了中国古代瓷器,玉器,字画,刺绣品及日本,印度,东南亚的铜器,佛像与工艺品,等等。

  此次拍品中的精品包括一对清代方角柜,雕刻精致,是美国私人收藏家民国时带出国的。罕见的拍品还包括一枚白玉钱币,表面上刻光绪元宝,一个黑白玉烟壶,和一件明代干漆坐佛,盘腿坐于台上,具有平静的表情。

A Pair of Chinese Hardwood Cabinets,
Qing Dynasty, each having double doors having shaped double fish form pulls, the doors consisting of pierce carved registers depicting knotted pines and prunus blossoms emerging from rocks above lower relief carved registers depicting baluster vases bearing fly whisks, scrolls and scepters below confronting sinuous beasts within a border of bats and scrolled archaistic chilong.

Lot 458
A Pair of Carved Hardwood Display Cabinets,
each having a molded cornice with a recessed center above tiers of shelves and cabinet doors of varying sizes, with relief carving throughout depicting varying foliage, birds, geometric patterns, and floral decoration with bamboo borders and pierce carved panels, the decoration and carving continuing on the sides, the whole raised on a rectangular base with recessed waist and squat, scalloped, tapering legs terminating in scrolled feet, raised on a squared, openwork frame and bracket base.

17th/18th century, having shaped plank back and sides surrounding the mat platform, a scalloped apron and squat curved legs ending in hoof feet.

A Carved White Jade Plaque,
modeled after a Guangxu silver coin, having a fitted wood and silk lined case.

 

Lot 135 (Sale 319)
A Black and White Nephrite Jade Snuff Bottle,
having high relief carving depicting two sages in a grove of pine trees, with a censer emiting smoke beside them and a mountainous landscape with waterfall depicted in the background, the reverse depicting a sage with a fan seated against a rock with pine trees beneath a sun and clouds, having an agate stopper lid.

A Chinese Gilded Dry Lacquer Figure,
Ming Dynasty, depicting Shakyamuni seated in dhyanasana, with serene expression and downcast gaze, the draped, flowing robes tied at the waist, raised on a fitted, carved and waisted double lotus wood base.

 

Lot 586
A Stone Fragment of Maitreya,
6th century, the central figure depicted serene expression and gazing straight ahead, seated in gently folding robes with her legs crossed above the ankles, multiple circular aureoles carved behind her head, with two attendant figures flanking either side.

A Pair of Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Presentation Vases, Ando Studio,
Meiji-Taisho period, each of elongated ovoid form and having squared shoulders, with a foliate band to the mouth rim and foot, a geometric and foliate band to the shoulder, a white imperial chrysanthemum crest on the neck, the body decorated with leafy orchids, all on a beige ground, with wire inlaid Ando studio mark to the undersides, with original fitted wood box.
