Studio Rouge at the Bund takes pleasure in inviting you to the opening of Zhou Jun's "Red Wrap"  on Sunday 15 October at 3pm.

　　Reminiscent of Christo's wrapped icons, Zhou Jun's photography captures the hyper design of  China's  reconstruction and is a critique of the current aesthetic of urban development. Buildings wrapped in bamboo lattice and plastic reveal the tension and beauty of form in concealment.  "Red Wrap" is the third in a trio of exhibitions mounted by Studio Rouge  to coincide with Shanghai Art Biennale exhibition.

　　“红色再现”

　　看了周军的作品会让你想起装置艺术家克里斯多的圣像包装，不同的是周军的作品不是装置作品，而是摄影作品。他通过捕捉中国的再建建筑来演绎个人对城市发展和城市重建的美学观念。这些建筑在竹格子脚手架和塑料的包裹下已渐渐失去了生命…他用“黑白”意象表现怀旧情怀，用“红色”铺陈中国开发区的过去和现在，给冰冷的建筑和冷酷的空气调和了一点“人性”，从而唤起隐藏在其中的时代感和美感。
