　　《蛋糕》是手绘动画和粘土动画两种形式结合起来的实验动画短片，作品以蛋糕作为载体，描绘从蛋糕里生长出来不断的互相吞噬，纠缠的人头，藤蔓，纱布⋯⋯摔跤运动员富有技巧的身体格斗，作品的声音部分好像不是来自影像本身，反而更像是来自另一个更广漠的空间中的物理干扰，产生某种失重的悬浮感。蛋糕的隐喻关联着财富、利益、欲望、无休止的互相吞噬和缠斗的人和物从蛋糕中生长出来无疑是对人性在利益基础上的关系的荒诞而真实的比喻。

　　The Cake is an experimental animation that combines hand-drawn animation and clay animation. This work, taking the cake as a carrier, describes the intertwined human heads, cirri, gauzes, etc., constantly growing from the cake. They fight, and swallow with each other. The wrestlers combat with each other with great techniques. It seems that the sounds in this animation never come from the images; instead, it is more likely that they are derived from the physical interference in a vaster space, providing people with a sense of suspending due to some kind of weightlessness. The metaphor of the cake refers to wealth, interests, and desire. The endless mutual fights between people and objects that continuously come from the cake are undoubtedly an absurd but real metaphor to the relationship of human nature on the basis of interests.

　　邱黯雄

　　1972年出生于四川，1994年毕业于四川美术学院，2003年毕业于德国卡塞尔艺术学院，现任教于华东师范大学设计学院。作品涉及动画、装置、录像、绘画、摄影等不同媒介。代表作品有动画片《新山海经》、《蛋糕》、《民国风景》、影像装置《为了忘却的记忆》。作品参加圣保罗双年展、上海双年展、悉尼双年展等国际国内展览，在东京现代美术馆、哥本哈根Aken现代美术馆等美术馆举办个展。作品为许多知名美术馆收藏。于2006年获得CCAA中国当代艺术奖，2007年获得雅昌艺术年度青年艺术家奖，连州国际摄影节媒体评论奖，亚洲当代艺术奖提名，《东方早报》年度艺术家提名。2009年中国批评家协会年度青年艺术家奖，2010年获得《改造历史》文献奖。于2007年创立未知博物馆。

　　Qiu Anxiong

　　Qiu Anxiong was born in 1972 in Sichuan, China. In 1994 he Graduated from the Sichuan Art Academy, China. In 2003 he Graduated from Kunsthochschule of University Kassel, Germany. He now works and lives in shanghai . Solo Exhibition: “E-Motion”，Enrico Navarra Gallery, Paris(2014); “Qiu Anxiong-New Book of Mountains and Seas Part2”Aken Museum of Modern Art, Copenhagen, Denmark (2013); “Historical Landscape”, Marabini Gallery ，Bologna，Italy (2012). In 2006 he won Chinese Contemporary Art Award. His works was collected with Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, MoMA NY. Spensor Museum, Museum of University Oxford, Kunst Haus Zurich, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, Art Museum Hongkong，Astrup Fearnley Musum of Modern Art. In 2007 he found an experimental project ”Museum of Unknown”, organized many event and exhibition and discussion of Art and Science and other academically area.
