　　故事节选自父亲文章《家庭的变迁》中的一个章节，讲述1955年父亲出生后，家庭搬迁到江西省宁都县城，祖父在县银行工作，下乡负责农业工作。祖母身体欠佳，最终病故⋯⋯

　　动画类似于记录片的形式，2011年我在江西的家中采访祖父，录音记录他对历史的回忆。动画的画面和音乐是由我、父亲和祖父三代共同完成。祖父滔滔不绝地用方言讲诉了1955年祖母病故的前后细节，对父亲的原始文章进行补充，加入了当时的心理活动等细节，使得故事更加生动。动画中的老照片绘制及美术字书写来自父亲的纸上绘画，他用黑白装饰画的方法重新绘制家庭照片，并用照相机将绘制过程一点一点记录下来，这个过程在动画里就像老照片在暗房中逐渐显影，记忆的慢慢浮现。

　　The story is adapted from a chapter in my father’s article Changes in Family. My father was born in 1955, and since then, the whole family had move to NingDu, a small county town in Jiangxi province. Grandfather worked in the bank and was sent to the countryside to take charge of the agricultural work. Grandmother was in poor health and eventually died young. This animation adopts a documentary-film form. In 2011, I interviewed my grandfather in my hometown, recording his memory of the history. My grandfather, my father and I, we three generations worked together to accomplish the pictures and music in this animation. My grandfather gushed over the details about my grandma’s death in 1955 with his dialect, which was a great supplementary to father’s original article. He added his psychological changes of that time into the film, making the story more vivid. The drawings of the old photo and the artistic calligraphy in the animation came from my father’s own paintings. He used the method of doing “white and black decoration painting” to recreate the family photos and recorded the whole procedure with the camera. In the film, this process is just like an old photo that has been gradually developed in the darkroom; and the memory slowly emerges.

　　艺术家，独立动画导演，创作同时涉及平面设计，短篇漫画和音乐。2007年本科毕业于清华大学美术学院动画专业，2009年获得清华大学美术学院动画硕士学位。2010年动画《这个念头是爱》获得渥太华国际动画节最佳动画短片奖。2013年动画《照片回收》入选昂西国际动画节，获得荷兰国际动画节最佳动画短片奖。2014年担任萨各勒布国际动画节、荷兰国际动画节评委。同年获得亚洲文化协会蔡国强艺术奖学金。

　　Lei Lei, Freelance artist, independent animation director. An up-and-coming multimedia Chinese animation artist with his hands on graphic design, illustration, short cartoon, graffiti and music also. In 2007 and 2009, he got a BFA and a master's degree respectively in animation from Academy of Art & Design, Tsinghua University Tsinghua University. In 2010, his film This is LOVE was shown at Ottawa International Animation Festival and awarded The 2010 Best Narrative Short. In 2013 his film Recycled was selected by Annecy festival and was the Winner of Grand Prix shorts - non-narrative at Holland International Animation Film Festival. In 2014, Lei Lei was assigned as the member of the jury in The Zagreb World Festival of Animated Films and in Holland International Animation Film Festival. The same year, Lei Lei won Cai Guo-Qiang Art scholarship of Asian Cultural Council.
