　　王炯积，九零后画家，有才气，并且是天才气。崇尚佛洛依德、培根和霍克尼，他的作品多取材于日常生活的所见所感，将个人情感和对生命的体验融入绘画，表达个体的自我——小资，却又揭示了当下人们难以名状的心理世界。这便是其作品独特的魅力所在。

　　George King, young artist of the post-90s generation, carries with himself both skills and genius. Indulged with the works of Lucian Freud, Francis Bacon and David Hockey, King captures people and scenes in his daily life, and dissolves his personal emotions and life experiences into his paintings. His works may seen “petit bourgeoisie” at the first sight, but at the same time they dig into the complex mental world of modern people, making his works most intriguing.

　　王炯积创作的发动机是独立的思考，他喜欢讨论生命、哲学和艺术。儿时体弱多病并受到过死亡威胁的他早熟，比同龄人更早地开始思考生命的意义。他直言自己的生命体悟：“死亡，在黑暗里显得尤其嚣张”，“生命在荒诞中成长”。

　　The engine for his creation is independent thinking. Life, philosophy and art are his favorite topics for discussion. Suffering from illnesses and even the threat of death in his childhood, George is precocious and dedicated in pondering the meaning of life. “Death is more boisterous when night falls,” he says, “and life grows in absurdity”.
