Pérez Art Museum Miami has named Adrienne Chadwick deputy director for education, Christina Boomer Vazquez deputy director of marketing and public engagement, and Melissa Cowley Wolf deputy director of development. Chadwick will oversee PAMM’s diverse art educational programming, the largest in Miami-Dade County outside of the school system itself; Vazquez will bring her years’ worth of storytelling, community building, resource management and passion for the arts to her role; and Wolf will plan, organize and direct the museum’s fundraising.

"With decades of experience in some of the premiere institutions in the community and the nation, they will help the museum serve its public, whether through exhibitions, education or general outreach—all necessary facets of a 21st-century museum."

Adrienne Chadwick’s career as an arts administrator began in 1994 with various positions at The Art Gallery of Ontario, Miami Children’s Museum and several city-run arts programs. Most recently, Chadwick served as the education manager at Nova Southeastern University Art Museum Fort Lauderdale (NSU Art Museum), where she successfully connected Broward County’s diverse community with the museum and its collections. Her work building dynamic new programs increased museum attendance and created meaningful educational experiences for visitors. Prior to working at NSU Art Museum, Chadwick was part of the education team at Young At Art Museum in Davie, where she served as the director of education & exhibits for the majority of her 17-year tenure. As a member of the strategic planning team, Chadwick was integral to all phases of the museum’s 57,000 square foot expansion from exhibition and program design to the capital campaign, which was completed in 2012.

She serves the community as a member of Broward County Cultural Division’s Arts Education Committee. Her work as an arts administrator is complemented by a studio art practice focused on mixed media installation, painting, printmaking and photography. Her artwork has been featured in various galleries and juried art shows throughout South Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art from New World School of the Arts and is a Master of Public Administration candidate at Nova Southeastern University.

Christina Boomer Vazquez was the creator of Emmy-award winning ‘Call Christina,’ an investigative consumer protection segment on WPLG. In 2015, The Radio Television Digital News Association awarded Vazquez a regional Edward R. Murrow for her reporting on the child migration border crisis in Honduras. She was born and raised in Southwest Miami-Dade. After earning a political science degree at Boston College, Vazquez began to pursue her passion for journalism. Her career has taken her to Rhode Island, California, Texas and Arizona. Along the way she picked up several awards to include a regional Edward R. Murrow, four regional Emmys and the USC Annenberg Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Television Political Journalism, a national award. She also taught multimedia journalism at Arizona State University.

Melissa Cowley Wolf has 15 years of leadership in the art, design, cultural and higher education spheres. Wolf has been recognized for her unique and dynamic approaches to relationship building, cultural programming and the fostering of high-level, sustainable collaborations between international institutions, universities, museums, corporations, art fairs, galleries and design firms.

Most recently, she was an executive director in the Office of Institutional Advancement at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). The first to hold the position in a growing advancement office, she built strategic engagement and fundraising programs, which included doubling alumni participation; building a board of parent leaders; increasing annual giving; executing an impressive fundraising gala; planning a year-long 150th anniversary program and participating in the launch of a capital campaign. Prior to SAIC, she held development roles in New York City at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP), Parsons The New School for Design and the Noguchi Museum.
