“趴刻”PARK | 广州开幕现场

　　2017年3月15日下午三点“趴刻”PARK展览在华艺廊顺利开幕。此次展览由广州华艺廊联合都柏林科林画廊共同呈现。参加本次展览的艺术家有卡拉莫•伊内斯(Callum Innes)、伊萨贝拉•诺兰(Isabel Nolan)、里亚姆•杰里柯(Liam Gillick)、丽莲•托马斯寇(Liliane Tomasko)、梅林•詹姆斯(Merlin James)、肖恩•斯库利(Sean Scully)、刘可及周力，作品类型包括绘画及装置作品。

　　Holly’s Gallery is proud to present our collaborated exhibition project PARK with Kerlin Gallery, with its grand opening successfully held at 3pm, 15 March 2017. This exhibition is co-organized by Holly’s Gallery, Guangzhou and Kerlin Gallery, Dublin. Participating artists include Callum Innes, Isabel Nolan, Liam Gillick, Liliane Tomasko, Merlin James, Sean Scully, Liu Ke and Zhou LI. Their works range from paintings to installations.

　　策展人达沃•霍根表示，展览主题命名为“趴刻”PARK有其名词和动词的两面。首先"PARK"(公园)是城市里不可或缺的观赏景色和休憩的公共空间。他认为画廊的功能应与公园类同，应该成为人们休憩和思考的地方。而华艺廊恰好座落于广州一个静谧公园的湖泊之上。对于主题的第二个解读，“PARK"有停车的涵义。停车、休憩、整装出发。达沃•霍根认为，当我们分出时间面对艺术时，会具备那种“无所戒备并肆意敞开”的感受。

　　The curator Darragh Hogan considers PARK, title of the exhibition, has dual meanings of its verb form and noun form. Firstly, the idea of Park is as a necessary public space for experience nature and leisure in a city. Perhaps galleries should function like parks where we retreat to experience and consider art. The second reading of the title is quite simply to ‘park’. To stop the car, to take time,to be present. He suggests that if we take the time, any time with art, that we too could be caught “off guard” and maybe our hearts could be blown open.

　　范勃在致辞中说道，“华艺廊是南中国最具影响力的画廊，经过近二十年的发展，积累了非常丰富的经验，也推出了很多具有代表性的艺术家。今天面对全球化的艺术发展，华艺廊通过与科林画廊的合作，把西方最优秀的当代艺术作品介绍到中国，也把中国的当代艺术优秀作品介绍到西方，介绍到世界，是非常有意义的。”

　　Mr. Fan said, “Holly’s Gallery is the most influential gallery in Southern China. It has accumulated rich experience with almost two decades of development, as well as promoted many represent ative artists. Today, facing the global art development, the cooperation of Holly’s Gallery and Kerlin Gallery has brought the most outstanding western contemporary art to China, at the same time, introduced Chinese art to the west, and the whole world, which is very meaningful.”
