  作品阐释:

  法国思想家居伊·德波的《景观社会》理论认为,“在现代生产条件盛行的社会,所有的生活都将自身展现为巨大的景观的积聚。生活着的一切都已转化为景观。”今天的社会已进人影像物品生产与物品影像消费为主的景观社会,景观已成为一种物化了的世界观,而景观本质上不过是“以影像为中介的人们之间的社会关系”。景象制造欲望,欲望决定生产,物质生产也是景象制造出来的假象操控之下劳作。人们在各类景观的中迷失,从而丧失了对本真生活的渴望与要求。景观遮蔽了现实,为人类制造了一个逃避现实的可能,人们将现实中不能获得的体验寄托在景观中。景观中“少数人演出,多数人默默观赏的某种表演”。作为多数人的众生在“一种痴迷和惊诧的全神贯注状态”中沉醉地观赏着“少数人”制造和操控的景观性演出。

  Work interpretation :Guy Debord, an ideologist in France, has proposed the theory of 《the society of landscape 》, and he thought" In the modern society, the condition of the production has been prevailing, and all life would show itself to the accumulation of huge landscape. Everything in life has converted to landscape." Today, the society has already become a society of spectacles which primarily focused on production and consumption of images, and landscape has become a kind of materialized view of the world,  however, the essence of the spectacle is a social relationship among  people mediated by images."

  The scene creates desire, which determines the production, and the material production is the illusion that the scene produced to operate under the control. People are lost in various landscapes, so they lose their desire and demand for the real life. Landscape obscures reality and creates an escapist possibility for humans, and people are pinned to the landscape in reality. "A few performers in the landscape, a performance that most people watch silently." As most of us enjoy the spectacle of "a few people" making and manipulating in "a state of obsession and amazement."

  杨锴(Yang Kai),1986年生于湖南衡山,2010年毕业于广州美术学院油画系获学士学位(获优秀毕业生),2017年毕业于中央美术学院实验艺术学院获硕士学位(研究方向:实验艺术研究),现工作学习于北京。主要个展有:“平静的汹涌:杨锴作品展”,今日美术馆,北京(2016)策展人彭锋教授;主要群展有:“第三届CAFAM双年展”,中央美院美术馆,北京(2016);作品被今日美术馆等国内外美术馆、基金会和重要收藏家广泛收藏。
