赵大陆肖像作品赏析（二）

　　赵大陆的肖像画选取了一种很有力道的表达方式，简洁、有力。在对精神层面的表达上这种方式更为直接。赵大陆认为，肖像画是油画创作中永恒的主题之一。每个画家在创作肖像画的时候肯定要加入自己对被画者的理解。首先，对被画者的精神气质、思想状态要有个最基本的认识和把握。另一个方面，要选择自己能够驾驭的造型手段与风格，讲求技巧但又不是玩弄技术。在谈到“阅读记忆”展中的肖像作品部分时他说：我现在用一种“挥写式”的笔法，以满足我的一种激情表达，得以大中有小、小中见大。表现人物内心的一些话要通过它说出来，这样做让我很娱悦、很满足。

　　Dalu's portraits are expressed in a concise yet powerful way, which ismore straightforward and effective when illustrating spiritual themes. "I thinkthe portrait is an eternal theme. Every artist endows portraits with uniqueunderstanding of the subjects themselves, as well as the basic knowledge and theirspirits and thoughts… Moreover, the skills and techniques are also veryimportant. At least artists should be able to control what they want toillustrate without playing with techniques. Recently I prefer to use a "Stroke-writing"technique in order to satisfy my desire to express my passion, to expresscharacters' inner feeling from the outside to the inside and from the inside tothe out. There is something you could tell with it, I am pleased and satisfiedby painting like this" said by Dalu.
