人群中平实得几近无人认识和关注，而他却是在经年扎扎实实地追求自己喜爱的艺术，而颇有建树的一个人。

　　他的美术专业攻读和技艺的磨炼，还都是在他出色地完成了他的本职工作（舞台美术和行政工作）后，经领导批准而同步完成的。

　　舞台美术创作作品的奖牌和种种名次都一一记录在他的战友、同事和领导的心中，记录在军史簿中的文化章节里。

　　他的专业功底在平实中积淀，直到他的油画作品《小夫妻》2009年获得第十一届全国美术作品展金奖！人们还是不清楚他是谁。口口传颂的还是广东的《小夫妻》！远不像20世纪罗中立获青年美术作品展金奖的《父亲》，人们至今传颂罗中立的《父亲》，好像罗中立有个多么好的父亲一样！

　　《小夫妻》为广东增了光，实现了广东油画金奖零的突破！这幅画的作者就是部队培养锻炼转业的青年油画家李节平！

　　这就是李节平的平实，谈起作品获得金奖，他最高兴的一句话就是：可以成为专业画院的专业画家了！

　　近些日子平实的节平又冒了出来，“乡野考察”作品汇报展，他的作品占据了广东美术馆的四个展厅，引起轰动！

　　他争取到了一个选题，用四年的时间，用他的专业本领和本事，深入粵东、粤西、粤北，记录、了解和创作有关广东农村农民和农俗的作品。不论画种、工具和手段，完全由心出发，寻法索技，自信自在，创作之、记录之、表现之。

　　这就是李节平的平实，谈起四年的光阴，“我终于完成了一个心愿，终于可以告一段落了”。

　　今天，节平又在积蓄力量，思考新的课题，谋划再出发！

　　他准备在前四年考察的普遍了解和创作的基础上，找准一个方向，深入地挖掘，纵向地深入，透彻地表现……

　　在平凡之中寻找不平凡，干出不平凡！

　　这就是李节平的平实！

　　我相信他一定会再次成功！

​Simple and Unadorned Li Jieping

　　As a simple and unadorned artist, Li Jieping is not even known and concerned by the public. However, he has been pursuing his favorite art for many years and made a lot of achievements.

　　His job was about stage art and administration. After obtaining the approval of the leader, he studied and practiced painting at the same time, which developed the superb techniques of drawing.

　　His stage art works have won many medals, which are remembered by his comrades-in-arms, colleagues and leaders, and recorded in the cultural chapters in the military history book.

　　He is a low-key person and only focuses on art creation. When his oil painting Petit Couple won the Gold Award in 11th National Art Exhibition in 2009, people didn't know who he was and only knew the Petit Couple was from Guangdong! His popularity was far less than that of Luo Zhongli who won the gold medal with the oil painting Father in the last century. Even today, people still praise Luo Zhongli's Father, and it seems like Luo Zhongli has a real good father!

　　However, Petit Couple is a glory for Guangdong, which has achieved the zero breakthrough of gold award of oil painting! The creator of the masterwork is Li Jieping who was trained by the army!

　　When talking about winning the gold award, Li Jieping's most happy words were: "Finally I could become a qualified painter in a professional painting institute!" Look, how simple and unadorned he is!

　　Recently, Li Jieping, who has been always low-key, suddenly appeared in public with his Rural Investigation - Guangdong New Rural Project. His works are presented in four exhibition halls in Guangdong Museum of Art, which is very impressive!

　　In last four years, he went deep into the eastern, western and northern parts of Guangdong to record, inspect and create a series of works that reflect the rural situation in Guangdong, farmers' lives and rural customs. Regardless of the type of painting, the used materials, and the way of expression, all his works are based on the heart, and through the skillful techniques to express confidently.

　　When talked about the time of four years, he said: "I finally fulfilled a wish and finally came to an end." This is how simple and unadorned he is.

　　Today, Li Jieping is building up strength, thinking about new topics, intending to start again!

　　On the basis of the general understanding and creation of the previous four years of study, he will dig deeper and demonstrate thoroughly with a different direction.

　　Being extraordinary in the ordinary, this is how simple and unadorned he is! I believe he will succeed again! I look forward to it!
