“哥窑”名列宋代五大名窑，在陶瓷史上有举足轻重的地位。哥窑胎多紫黑色、铁黑色、也有黄褐色。釉为失透的乳浊釉，釉面泛一层酥光，釉色以炒米黄、灰青多见，釉面大小纹片结合。

"Geyao" is one of the five famous kilns in the Song Dynasty, and plays an important role in the history of ceramics. Brother kiln tyres are purple black, iron black, and also yellow-brown. The glaze is opaque and opaque. The glaze has a crisp glow. The color of the glaze is fried rice yellow and grey blue. The size of the glaze is combined with the grain.

关于金丝铁线还有一个传说：相传，宋代龙泉县，有一位很出名的制瓷艺人，姓章，名村根，他便是传说中的章生一、章生二的父亲。章村根的擅长制青瓷而闻名遐迩，生一、生二兄弟俩自小随父学艺，老大章生一厚道、肯学、吃苦，深得其父真传，章生二亦有绝技在身。章村根去世后，兄弟分家，各开窑厂。

There is another legend about the golden wire: Legend has it that in Longquan County of the Song Dynasty, there was a famous ceramic artist named Zhang Sheng-yi and Zhang Sheng-erh, whose father was Zhang Sheng-yi and Zhang Sheng-erh. Zhang Cunggen is famous for his celadon-making skills. His first and second brothers learned from their father when they were young. The elder Zhang Sheng was kind, willing to learn and hard-working, and he was well-known for his father's true biography. Zhang Sheng-er also had great skills. After Zhang Cunggen died, his brothers separated and opened kiln factories.

老大章生一所开的窑厂即为哥窑，老二章生二所开的窑厂即为弟窑。兄弟俩都烧造青瓷，都各有成就。但老大技高一筹，烧出“紫口铁足”的青瓷，一时名满天下，其声名传至皇帝，龙颜大悦，钦定指名要章生一为其烧造青瓷。

老二心眼小，心生妒意，趁其兄不注意，把粘土扔进了章生一的釉缸中，老大用掺了粘土的釉施在坯上，烧成后一开窑，他惊呆了，满窑的瓷器的表面的釉面全都开裂了，裂纹有大有小，有长有短，有粗有细，有曲有直，且形状各异，有的像鱼子，有的像柳叶，有的像蟹爪。

Lao Er was small-minded and jealous. He threw clay into Zhang Shengyi's glaze jar without his brother's attention. The elder brother applied clay-mixed glaze to the body. After firing, he opened a kiln. He was shocked. The glaze surface of the porcelain ware in the kiln was all cracked. The cracks were big or small, long or short, thick or thin, curved or straight, with different shapes, some like fish, some like willow leaves, and some like willow leaves. It's like crab claws.

他欲哭无泪，痛定思痛之后，他重新振作精神，他泡了一杯茶，把浓浓的茶水涂在瓷器上，裂纹马上变成茶色线条，又把墨汁涂上去，裂纹立即变成黑色线条，这样，不经意中形成“金丝铁线”。

此哥窑葵口洗，呈倭角葵花型，釉面呈青色，下承五小支足，造型端庄古朴，釉色厚润如脂，周身纹片细密，深者呈紫褐色，浅者则为金黄色，大小纹片相间，深浅两色交织，纹片错落不一，圈足规整，足端施釉整齐，造型端庄典雅，制作精细，胎质细腻，所敷施釉色厚润犹如凝脂，宝光内蕴，周身纹片致密，并有自然形成的凹陷、薄胎厚釉、釉质肥润，油酥光、玉质感强，釉层原于胎壁，开片不规则，呈黑黄二色（亦称“金丝铁线”）。

The Koukou wash of this Geyao kiln is a kind of sunflower with blue glaze, five small feet underneath. Its modelling is elegant and simple. Its glaze is thick and moist like grease. Its whole body is dense. The deep ones are purple-brown, while the light ones are golden. The large and small patches are interwoven with the dark and light ones. The patches are scattered, the circles are regular, the feet are glazed tidily, the modelling is dignified and elegant, the production is fine, and the tire is delicate. The glaze is thick and moist, like congealed grease, with precious light and dense tattoos. It has naturally formed depressions, thin and thick glaze, rich glaze, crisp and jade texture. The glaze layer originates from the fetal wall, and its opening is irregular, showing black and yellow dichroism (also known as "golden wire").
