路易西娅娜美术馆，位于丹麦一个小村庄里。它是北欧现代建筑的经典之作，体现了北欧文化平和、内涵、务实、简约而多变的空间运用，不张扬，但又让人深感内力十足的文化底蕴。入口处是一个极不引人注目的家庭院落，平凡而又出其不意，你绝对想象不出，这是当代北欧最重要的美术馆。从周边环境看，设计师巧妙利用了原地势的地貌，在山坡上形成毫不张扬的建筑风格，以平矮、直线为主的方式，植物生态自然，在空地上有20世纪最著名的雕塑家亨利·摩尔、米罗等大师的作品，坐落院内，与外部建筑围合成自然的环形，而展厅则在地下发展，使人感觉到它的博大精深的内涵。美术馆正展出20世纪初著名的画家马蒂斯的作品。
　　美术馆主要展示厅在地下，错落、迂回，展厅与服务设施有机结合，经过地下，顺势沿着靠海的山坡走出迷宫，返回入口。表面上看你根本想象不出有这么大的空间，看过后又回味无穷，为设计的精妙构思叫好，充分体现北欧文明与特色。我想，世界上恐怕是没有另外一个这样的美术馆的。
　　Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is located in a small village of Denmark. As a representative work of modern architecture, it shows the peacefulness, practicality, succinctness and flexibility of the Nordic culture. Without extra propaganda, it is attractive in its own right. The entrance is an ordinary, unnoticeable yard of which no one dare to imagine as the gate to the most important art museum of northern Europe. The designer skillfully used the original physiognomy of the mountain and constructed certain kind of flat and low buildings along the hillside. The museum is natural in the botanic ecosystem, and melts with the sculptures of Henry Moore and Milo. The exhibition halls are extended into the underground, creating a feeling of profundity and extensiveness. The works of Henri Matisse, the celebrated artist of the early 20th century, were on exhibition then.
　　The main exhibition halls of the museum are underground, strewed and twisted. Passing the underground passage, along the hillside next to the sea, visitors will return to the entrance. What's more, in the exhibition hall, the service infrastructure is well arranged. You can't imagine the inner space from the surface of the museum. After the visit, the design of the museum leaves you much aftertaste and admiration. Maybe the museum is a genuine product of the Nordic culture. I think that there won't be any other museums like Louisiana in this world.
