  魏画廊 很荣幸地宣布将於2019年7月13日至8月8日与中国艺术家金日龙先生合作举办其香港首次个人展览。本次展览由画廊主魏丽洋女士亲自策展,以“意象重构”为主题展出“人物”,“修行”,“丁酉中秋”及“重构”系列作品。

  Amanda Wei Gallery gladly presents Jin Rilong‘s first solo exhibition in Hong Kong <Imagery Restructuring>, featuring various themes, “Character”, “Practice”, “Ding Wei Zhongqiu”, and “Restructure”, curated by Amanda Wei. The exhibition starts on the 12th of July and will last until the 8th of August 2019.

  这些作品聚焦於金日龙30余年来艺术探索的一个切面:呈现艺术家从具象油画探索,到装饰性语言研究,到平面视觉设计,再到影像多媒体实验,最後回到抽象性平面的语言探索中的跨度及心路历程轨迹。上诉复杂的艺术探索之路,呈现的不仅是金日龙艺术造诣上的演化,更是他思想和精神世界以艺术的方式表达和呈现的过程。

  These works focus on one aspect of Jin Rilong’s artistic exploration in more than 30 years: from the exploration of figurative oil painting to decorative language research to graphic design to multimedia experiments, and finally back to the spiritual, explorative path of abstract language. Entering the complex path of art exploration not only represents the evolution of Jin‘s artistic attainments but also shows the process of how he expressed his thought and the spiritual world artistically.

  为此,金日龙更愿意称其作品为“意象”,而非抽象。抽象排斥具体的形象,但“意象”是比具象更具象的形象,是能够直抵灵魂的艺术语言。

  Therefore, Jin considers his work as “Imagery” art, and not abstract art. “Abstract art rejects the concept of figural images, however, imagery depicts more accuracy than reality, it is an art language that can pierce a soul.”

  而“重构”则强调在经过由影像回到平面的创作历程後,制作过程的重要性,突出记录那些反复,重叠,偶发,控制,放弃,强调......以及由此引发的重构意识的增强,尤其是心理重构的参与,矛盾的博弈,最後所抵达的身心的澄明,精神的安宁,灵魂的超越。

  “Restructuring” emphasizes the importance of the creation process, from visual to flat images. Highlighting the repeatability, overlapping, sporadic, control, abandonment, emphasizing the awareness for resilience, meaning the psychological restructuring, and the game of contradiction, which would provide clarity, peace of mind and the transcendence of the soul.

  “重构”尤其强调外在生活方式的西化并未影响金日龙内在心灵中与生俱来,浸透在血液中的对中国古典文化的衷情,无论是从作品题目中透露出的中国传统节日,中国独特诗意美学信息,还是冷静,理智,高度秩序化,构成性的绘画语言背後流溢出的鲜明的东方审美意境,都为我们营造了一个独特的金氏“想像的空间”。籍此空间,我们可以静思古往今来西方文化,东方文明在一个具体的人身上深刻的烙印,以及他通过艺术的方式传递给我们的共鸣与共情。

  “Restructuring” emphasizes Jin Rilong’s inner spirit and intrinsic heart, which soaked in the blood of Chinese classical culture, wasn‘t affected by the westernized lifestyle. The traditional Chinese festival theme and Chinese unique poetic aesthetic writing revealed from the title of the works were about the concept of being calm, rational, highly ordered and constitutive, the Chinese culture has created a unique “imaginary space” for Jin. From this space, we can see how Western culture and Eastern civilization has made a profound imprint on a person, also the resonance and empathy that he conveyed to us through art.

  “意象的重构”展览中呈现金日龙30余年来形成他“重构”艺术和精神世界的作品,这些作品曾在美国,英国,韩国,中国等地参加个人展览及群展,多件作品被国内外公私美术馆永久收藏。

  Jin had his solo and group exhibitions in the United States, England, Korea, China, etc. His work was also collected by art museums from all around the world.

  关於艺术家

  金日龙生於1962年吉林省图们,1982年考人中央美术学院油画系第一个工作室,早在三十多年前,在中央美术学院油画系第一个工作室学习期间,他就一面勤奋学习,努力掌握和完善自己的造型功力,一面思考如何结合自身条件,寻找能充分发挥自己个性和天分的艺术途径。他在考察民族传统艺术瑰宝敦煌石窟壁画之後,便有意在平面上发掘绘画语言的表现力,创造富有音乐感和写意风采的油画作品,受到人们的关注。之後,他1996年先後在韩国两座美术大学任教并攻读博士学位,广泛接触现代艺术,开始深入地探索绘画语言的形式美感,其中包括用丙烯表现色彩和笔触,肌理的丰富性,语言趋於含蓄,抽象,艺术感觉更为细致,微妙和具有内在的文化意味。在此基础上,他又迈步综合材料和装置艺术,在现代设计艺术领域中一显身手,追求艺术当代,展现了他开阔的国际视野和多方面的才能。现任中央美术学院教授,博士生导师。

  Jin Rilong was born in Tumen, Jilin province in China in 1962. He entered the first studio of the oil painting department in the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1982. During his study, Jin worked hard to master and improve his skills and abilities, meanwhile, started to look for an artistic approach that would allow him to give full play to his talent and personality. After investigating the national traditional art treasure, the Dunhuang Grottoes murals, he decided to explore the expressiveness of painting. He created oil paintings that have a sense of music and a style of freehand brushwork and got more and more attention. Jin taught and got a doctor degree in two art institutes in Korea in 1996. With broader exposure to modern art, he began to further explore the formal aesthetics in painting, including the use of acrylic to present the richness of color, strokes, and texture, the more implicit and abstract language, and the more delicate, subtle feeling that has inherent culture meaning. On this basis, he moved forward to the mixed media and installation art, worked in the field of modern design art, pursued contemporaneity, and showed his international vision and varieties of skills. Jin is now a professor and doctoral advisor at the Central Academy of Fine Art.
