10月23日,缦合·北京与微斯艺术中心(VIS ART CENTER)联合举办了“意象×艺术”当代艺术展,于金秋时节在独具禅意与设计生活美学的C3空间为来宾倾情呈现,展期持续至10月31日。

10月23日,首次以中国当代抽象绘画为主题,缦合·北京与微斯艺术中心(VIS ART CENTER)联合举办了“意象×艺术”当代艺术展,呈现出谭平、马可鲁、王易罡和戴莹4位活跃于中国当代艺术界,在绘画领域持续探索的杰出艺术家的20幅画作,全面开启“缦合艺术派”的首场精彩,展期持续至10月31日。
MAHÁ· Beijing and VIS ART CENTER jointly held the “Image × Art” contemporary art exhibition on October 23 under the theme of Chinese contemporary abstract paintings for the first time. The exhibition features 20 paintings by Tan Ping, Ma Kelu, Wang Yigang and Dai Ying, four outstanding artists who are active in the Chinese contemporary art circles and have been exploring the field of paintings. It is the first wonderful show of “MAHÁ School of Art”, The exhibition will last until October 31.

当日,谭平、马可鲁、王易罡3位艺术家共同带来别开生面的艺术论坛,以 “居家空间美学探讨”、“艺术家与艺术的关系”和“从抽象绘画到东方美学”为话题,从现代设计、当代绘画、自我探索等多个维度展开探讨,分享了对于MAH美学的生动感悟和抽象艺术欣赏背后的美学深思。
On the same day, Tan Ping, Ma Kelu, and Wang Yigang held a refreshingly different art forum. With the topics such as “discussion on the aesthetics of home”, “relationship between artists and art” and “from abstract painting to eastern aesthetics”, they held discussions on modern design, contemporary paintings, self-exploration, etc., and shared insights into MAHÁ’s aesthetics and thoughts on aesthetics for the appreciation of abstract art.

在处处彰显现代设计经典的缦合·北京C3空间中,谭平先生带观者一同回望了过去几十年间中国家庭风格的审美演变。他提到,如今人们已全面进入到让设计讲故事的时代,书本中设计与艺术流派知识变得愈发不再重要,关键在于每个个体的艺术修养的体现。“家居艺术审美的核心,将全部来自于主人对艺术和生活的认识。Ta在某一阶段所能到达的层次,就是其生活方式最真实的展现。”
Mr. Tan Ping led the audience to review the evolution of aesthetics of Chinese family styles over the past few decades at the MAHÁ·Beijing C3 space, which demonstrates modern design classics. He mentioned that we now enter the era of telling stories through design, and design and art schools become increasingly less important. The key lies in the embodiment of each individual‘s artistic accomplishment. “The core of home art aesthetics comes from the owner’s cognition of art and life. The level he (she) can reach in a certain stage is the best expression of their lifestyle.”

此外,谭平先生还以多个平实的案例,解答了抽象绘画从欣赏、观看到悬挂、展陈等实际问题。“在抽象绘画的语境中,从画本身到画所处的空间,再从空间到场域、氛围的变化,一切都密切关联着。不仅仅是作品与空间、作品与作品之间时刻呼应,任意一位观众的走入,都将成为空间中不可或缺的一部分,成为抽象艺术的一份子。”
Moreover, Mr. Tan Ping used many cases to answer realistic questions of abstract painting such as appreciation, viewing, hanging and display. “In the context of abstract painting, there is close connection between painting, the space where the painting is located, space, field and changes in the atmosphere. It is not merely the interaction between the works and the space, and between the works themselves. Viewers who enter the space will become an indispensable part of the space and part of abstract art.”

马可鲁先生对缦园内外满满的自然禅意有着强烈的共鸣,在论坛开始时他便分享了来到缦园后的真切感受。“在缦合,我从室内就能看到园子里有日本松、枯山水等东方美学元素,缦园内还有郁郁葱葱的森林,在喧闹都市中能有如此原生态的自然,实属珍贵。”对于东方美学背后巨大的能量,他也一直在创作中自然而然地深入、探索和发现。
The natural artistic conception of Zen at MAHÁ Garden strikes a chord with Mr. Ma Kelu. At the beginning of the forum, he shared his feelings about visiting MAHÁ. “In MAHÁ Garden, I can see that there are oriental aesthetic elements such as Japanese pine and Japanese rock garden, and verdant trees. It is rare to have such primitive nature in the bustling city.” He has been naturally exploring the huge energy behind eastern aesthetics in his creation.

他认为,目前中国仍是不断建立文化自信的时候,但对于个体艺术家来说,简单的嫁接、借用一类表面动作还远远不够。在精神层面,马可鲁先生一直在抽象绘画中试图接近中国古代大师的思想,希望由此建立起自己的知识构架,水到渠成地获得一种文化的全盘思考。
He believes that China is building self-confidence in culture, but for individual artists, simple use of superficial movements is far from enough. On the spiritual level, Mr. Ma Kelu has been approaching the ideas of ancient Chinese masters in abstract paintings, in the hope of building his own knowledge structure and contemplating culture in a comprehensive manner.

王易罡先生亦表达了对于缦园空间设计的欣赏,艺术与自然的结合,正是缦合的生态美学。谈及艺术家与艺术的关系,他认为那是一种生活与艺术的关系,是艺术家在生活中不断感悟,不断体验的过程。
Mr. Wang Yigang expressed his appreciation for the spatial design of MAHÁ Garden. The combination of art and nature is the aesthetics of MAHÁ ecologically. Speaking of the relationship between artists and art, he said that it is a relationship between life and art, a process of developing perception and experiencing in life for artists.

在王易罡先生多年的艺术实践中,他还真切感悟到艺术家与艺术是如情人般的恋情,又像彼此拉扯的婚姻,整个过程时刻都是对艺术家极大的考验。在与艺术朝夕相处的丰富体会中,总会有全新的感悟。
In many years of artistic practice, Wang Yigang felt that the relationship between artists and art is like that of lovers, and also like a marriage with ups and downs. The whole process is a great trial for the artist. New insights can be gained from association with art day and night.

从绘画之初,到持续三十余年的艺术探索,为了追求艺术中更为自由的表达,他们义无反顾地付诸于抽象艺术的探索。在抽象绘画中,绘画变得没有了所谓的“对”“错”,画也不再仅仅是“画”本身。本次参展并在论坛担任主持的艺术家戴莹,深谙三位抽象艺术家话题背后的深意。在她看来,绘画是一种行为,而并非仅是绘画本身,每幅作品都是身体仪式与绘画实践的合二为一。
During more than 30 years of artistic exploration, they have committed themselves to the exploration of abstract art for more free expression of art. In abstract paintings, there is no so-called “right” or “wrong” , and painting is no longer “painting” itself. Artist Dai Ying, who participated in this exhibition and served as the moderator at the forum, is fully aware of the profound meaning behind the topics by the three abstract artists. In her view, painting is a type of behavior, not merely a painting. Each work is the blend of body ritual and painting practice.

As an artist and one of the representatives of VIS ART CENTER, Dai Ying has been thinking about the significance of incorporating contemporary art into top-class residence. She is fully aware that what can really promote art needs to be completed in the areas outside the art community.
