作品理念(Creation Idea)：

猜想城市系列之 “新重庆”，纵观人类整个城市发展史,科技的进步与变革始终在城市空间的演变过程中扮演着重要角色，而人工智能作为新一轮技术革命的浪潮，无疑在末来城市空间的变迁中发挥着至关重要的作用。在未来虚拟时代中，人工智能会构造出怎样的“新重庆”？《算法猜想重庆》是对重庆城市空间的探索，也是构建未来虚拟城市空间的一种尝试。

作品创作灵感源自于重庆 “8D魔幻地形”，复杂的山地地形造就这个多维的立体城市和魔幻的城市空间。我们在网上分别采集了10000张山体和城市楼体的照片，使用GAN人工智能进行训练学习后，利用AI风格迁移，融合埃舍尔的“错视”空间风格，生成了AI机器视角下的“新重庆”图像，并作为驱动作品视觉表现内容的算法数据来源。结合艺术感知、数据映射、可视化等，描绘出艺术猜想的重庆印象。

我们的目标是通过抽象的视觉表现来重新定义重庆魔幻城市空间，从中向观众拋出新的思考，在人工智能与人类智慧的矛盾发展中，人工智能科技在末来城市构建中扮演怎样的角色？ 人工智能会理解城市背后的人文情感吗？作品尝试以特殊的 “非人”视角，探讨人文与建筑、城市与自然、机器与情感的关系。

This work is one of the Guessing City Series about "New Chongqing". Seen from the whole history of urbanization, the progress and change of science and technology has always playing an important role in the evolution of urban space. Artificial Intelligence, a new wave of technological revolution, is also undoubtedly of significance in the change of urban space in the future. What style of Chongqing will AI construct in the future virtual era? This work is seen as an exploration of urban space in Chongqing and an attempt to build a future virtual urban space.

Inspired by the magical “8D terrain” in Chongqing, this work makes it a multi-dimensional city with magical urban space. We have collected 10,000 photos of mountains and buildings in Chongqing from the Internet respectively. After training and learning with GAN technology, AI device transfers and integrates Escher’s “trompe l’oeil” style into these photos to generate the new image of Chongqing from the perspective of AI, which is applied as the algorithm data source of the visual presentation. The impression of Chongqing under the artistic conjecture is depicted with artistic perception, data mapping, visualization, etc.

We aim to redefine the magical urban space in Chongqing by means of abstract visual representation, and by asking people to think about the role of Artificial Intelligence in the construction of the future city under the conflict between AI and human intelligence. Will AI understand our emotions? This work attempts to explore the relationship between humanity and architecture, city and nature, and machine and emotion from a special “non-human” perspective.

2022中国·重庆首届国际光影艺术节是重庆首届都市艺术节的重要组成部分，将于2023年1月6日举办，是立足于本土艺术文化资源，首次集政府、企业、艺术界的力量重点打造的城市艺术品牌活动，由文化和旅游部艺术发展中心、重庆市教育委员会、重庆市文化和旅游发展委员会、重庆市九龙坡区人民政府、四川美术学院、重庆市美术家协会共同主办。

本次光影艺术节是国内首创集“灯光影像、灯光艺术、灯光装置”三大艺术版块为一体的国际性光影公共艺术活动，秉承行业高水准的原则，面向国际优秀的光影艺术家、灯光设计师和数字媒体艺术团队等邀约作品参演。届时，将由来自中国、意大利，法国，德国，西班牙、墨西哥、保加利亚，罗马尼亚等近20个国家的百余件光影艺术作品汇集在重庆九龙半岛，点亮黄桷坪涂鸦艺术街区。黄桷坪涂鸦艺术街承载着重庆城市的历史记忆与人文情怀，串联着重庆艺术发展的既往变迁与未来期望，这里将会打造无边界重庆美术公园，并以此构建重庆城市文化艺术全新的景观、模式、业态。本次光影艺术节在黄桷坪的实现即是对九龙美术半岛文化IP的强势备注。

“流光绘影，艺术让生活更美好”是此次光影艺术节的主题，强调运用3D Mapping技术，使光、数字影像等艺术媒介语言进入公共空间，流入大众生活，通过艺术与技术的融合，科技与生活的碰撞，让艺术最大化地介入日常，用饱满的视觉感官凝聚美好生活。“让美浸入城市，让美融入生活”，愿本次光影艺术节在黄桷坪涂鸦街的呈现，再次刷新半岛艺术湾别样的文化气质，充分展现“美丽艺术湾、美好新生活”，也逐渐点亮并丰富着重庆城市夜晚景观与人文内涵，打造重庆的年度文化盛事。
