2024年，艺术的创作从某种意义来说，是灵魂的表达，寻求诗的意境，生活的儒雅。画看见的，但视觉的震撼，表达不了艺术家内心的挣扎与探索。传统的文人画断代了吗，新的文人画又如何在当下和传统中继承与发展。这个问题是中国现当代艺术的一个重要命题。

The creation of art is, in a sense, an expression of the soul, seeking the mood of poetry, the jouissance of life. Painting what is seen, but the visual vibration, can not express the artist's inner struggle and exploration. Is the traditional literati painting broken, and how can the new literati painting inherit and develop in the present and tradition. This question is an important proposition for Chinese contemporary art.

近十年来，艺术家莫百鹏从创作的语言，题材，到作品的文化性都进行了深入的探索。

从西方的后表现主义到中国现今的观念主义，艺术的创作一直在寻求一种文化的，哲学的属性。而中国从唐宋以来，绘画艺术的归属是文人画，是要把艺术的灵魂用文人的理想主义色彩融入艺术的创作之中。

Over the past decade, artist Tim Mo has made in-depth explorations from the language of creation, the subject matter, to the cultural nature of his works.

From Western Post-Expressionism to Chinese Conceptualism, the creation of art has been seeking a cultural and philosophical attribute. In China, since the Tang and Song dynasties, the art of painting has been attributed to literati painting, which is to dissolve the soul of art into the creation of art with the idealistic color of literati.

《风景的诗歌》是从2023年开始，创作的一系列作品。淡化了视觉感观，模糊了视觉的形状。意象的表现，诗歌的浪漫，哲学的思索，从文化的角度表现绘画的精神内涵，来创作新的时代的文人画。

Poetry of Landscape is a series of works from the year 2023. The visual sense is diluted and the visual shape is blurred. The expression of imagery, the romance of poetry, and philosophical contemplation express the spiritual connotation of painting from a cultural perspective to create a new era of literati painting.

艺术的创作，是一个时代的文化反响。每一个时代有自己的文化归属和选择。艺术家只是从自己的生活体验来感知时代的脉搏与冲动。

The creation of art is a cultural reaction of an era. Each era has its cultural belongings and choices. Artists only perceive the pulse and impulse of the times from their own life experiences.

​莫百鹏，71年出生，湖南湘西，毕业于长沙理工学院艺术系。誉美世界画廊策展人&艺术顾问。作品曾被多国外交官收藏，如英国、法国、瑞士、以色列等国驻广州领事馆以及国内外重要企业和个人收藏。

Born in 1971, Xiangxi, Hunan Province, graduated from the Art Department of Changsha University of Science & Technology. He is the curator and Art Consultant of Bravo Arts Gallery, and his works have been collected by the Israeli Consulate in Guangzhou, the Swiss Consulate in China, the French Consulate in Guangzhou, as well as famous enterprises and individuals at home and abroad.
