前言

在艺术的无垠疆域中，理想与现实之间的张力不仅是创作灵感的源泉，更是推动文明进步与个体精神觉醒的不竭动力。自古以来，哲人、艺术家与思想家们，在理想与现实的激烈碰撞中，不懈地探寻着真理与自我，他们的足迹构成了人类精神探索的壮丽图景。卢梭的悖论，圣母玛利亚形象的双重解读，乃至现代社会法律与个体命运的微妙交织，无一不深刻揭示了这一张力的普遍存在与深远影响。

在数字化浪潮的冲击下，集体文化的同质化趋势日益显著，个体的独特性与创造性面临前所未有的挑战。艺术，作为反映时代精神、激发人类潜能的重要媒介，其角色愈发显得重要而复杂。《美丽新世界》的警示，让我们意识到，真正的威胁往往源自于我们对理想状态的盲目追求与过度依赖，而非外在的威胁与恐惧。这一认识，促使我们更加审慎地审视自身，探索如何在理想与现实之间找到新的平衡。沫·美术馆的本次展览，旨在构建一个跨越时空的对话，深入挖掘并呈现那些在理想与现实缝隙中挣扎与成长的声音。这些表达既是对历史遗忘角落的回望，也是对当代社会现实深刻洞察的发声。

本次参展的八位艺术家以其独特的艺术语言和深刻的思想洞察，为我们呈现了一场关于理想与现实、自我与世界的深度对话。他们或借助物品隐喻美好与现实之间的矛盾，或以日常细节捕捉生活的细腻与力量，或以光影和自然探讨时间的流转与存在的意义，或以材料与形式的创新挑战视觉与思维的边界，探讨秩序与混乱。

现当代艺术的魅力在于，艺术载体逐渐从艺术品向艺术家转移，观众被作品背后所揭示的艺术家思想所吸引。当代艺术家应成为时代的见证者与思考者。本次参展作品交汇社会意识与个体思索，引领我们穿梭于理想与现实之间，邀请我们共同反思，在追求完美的道路上，我们是否遗忘了什么？在理想与现实的交织中，我们又该如何坚守自我，寻找内心的平静与力量？通过艺术家的视角，我们希望深入洞察这一旅程上的错综复杂，探讨生命的多义性与复杂性，这既是一场对外部世界的深刻观察，也是一场指向内心的自我发现之旅。

Preface

In the boundless realm of art, the tension between idealism and reality serves not only as a wellspring of creative inspiration but also as an inexhaustible force propelling the progress of civilization and the awakening of individual spirit. Since ancient times, philosophers, artists, and thinkers have relentlessly sought truth and self in the fierce clash between idealism and reality. Their journeys have shaped a magnificent landscape of human spiritual exploration. The paradox of Rousseau, the dual interpretation of the image of the Virgin Mary, and the intricate interplay between modern societal laws and individual destinies all profoundly reveal the pervasive existence and far-reaching impact of this tension.

Under the impact of the digital wave, the trend of homogenization in collective culture is increasingly apparent, posing unprecedented challenges to individual uniqueness and creativity. Art, as a vital medium reflecting the spirit of the times and stimulating human potential, has become ever more important and complex in its role. The warning from "Brave New World" makes us realize that the true threat often arises from our blind pursuit and over-reliance on an ideal state, rather than external threats and fears. This realization prompts us to scrutinize ourselves more carefully and explore how to find a new balance between idealism and reality. Minevra Gallery exhibition aims to create a dialogue across time and space, deeply excavating and presenting the voices that struggle and grow in the crevices between idealism and reality. These expressions are both a retrospective glance at the forgotten corners of history and a profound insight into contemporary social realities.

This exhibition features eight artists who, with their unique artistic languages and profound insights, present a deep dialogue about idealism and reality, self and the world. They use metaphors to highlight the contradictions between beauty and reality, capture the subtlety and strength of everyday details, explore the passage of time and the meaning of existence through light and nature, and challenge the boundaries of vision and thought through innovative materials and forms, discussing order and chaos.

The charm of contemporary art lies in the gradual shift of the art medium from the artwork to the artist, with the audience being attracted to the thoughts revealed behind the works. Contemporary artists should become witnesses and thinkers of their time. The works in this exhibition intertwine social consciousness with individual reflection, guiding us through the interplay of idealism and reality. They invite us to collectively ponder whether, in the pursuit of perfection, we have forgotten something. In the interweaving of idealism and reality, how should we uphold ourselves and find inner peace and strength? Through the artists' perspectives, we hope to gain deep insights into the intricacies of this journey, exploring the multiplicity and complexity of life. This is not only a profound observation of the external world but also a journey of self-discovery directed inward.
