夫佛陀者释氏，正觉者也。依菩提而证道，德相慈悲而觉醒。大千世界，觉路此践；万有宇宙，般若佛心。不虚入无相之功，拈花微笑。世尊之相勇毅兮，身舍虎饲鹰委蛇。灵惟有珠，千途尽向于众生；念起本心，万象皆行于世界。自性本来清静，无念为宗，化相为体，无住为本。

悉达多弃王之尊，舍万里江山之位。菩提于穹苍之卷，甘露酒地，觉悟于亘古之煌，婆娑警世。醒天地之清净，明心见性。琴穿梵音似闻，瑟临天籁若聆。继六佛而成道，明无迁谢诸苦累也；觉性皆空，冥万物之生无相。自此佛法根生，济度苍生觉也。

大乘入始九州，汉室战乱兵燹。黎庶涂炭罹难，佛济濒仓；庙堂愚顽迷梦。相引鸣凰，條尔落地华夏，花开五叶。演摩诃般若之慈悲，示阿耨多罗之隆发。伏愿弘慈，复苍穹之情，会坤象所安；施大慧目，界万载无虞。一尘不染三千界，万法皆空十二個。佛陀者，臆子隐而化胡，修大空境。真妄皆空证一如，念自缘起；法眼洞明诸法真，和合一体。教化民荡清俗野，固善归根别于禽。嗟，明文泽以周盈，夫地荣辱而德垂眷。引族类弃蒙昧，涅槃译云灭度。

​Ode to Perfect Enlightenment

Buddha is Shakyamuni, who had perfect enlightenment. He obtained access to the law of the universe under the Bodhi tree, awakening with compassion. Here starts the path to enlightenment about the entire universe; all existing universes are manifestations of the heart of Prajna Buddha, who enters the formless realm without illusion, smiling at the lotus flower. Buddha is courageous and steadfast, even sacrificing his body to make the tiger saved, the eagle fed, and the serpent moved. The soul like one luminous pearl guides us to benefit all beings; what one thinks creates all the phenomena faring in his or her world. The nature per se is originally pure: no thought dominates, changes appear, and non-abiding steers.

Siddhartha abandoned his royal status, relinquishing his vast kingdom. Under the Bodhi tree, he attained enlightenment, like crystal clear dew, awakening throughout the ages and enlightening the world. He awakened the purity of heaven and earth, revealing the true nature of the mind. The world seems to hear the tunes of the zither in Sanskrit sounds and the heavenly music of the lute. Following the path of the six previous Buddhas, he realized the cessation of all suffering; recognizing the emptiness of all nature, understanding the formlessness of all beings. From then on, the roots of Buddhism grew, aiding the salvation and enlightenment of all beings.

The Mahayana entered ancient China, during the tumultuous wars of the Han Dynasty (202 BC-220 CE). The common people suffered immensely, and Buddhism provided relief; the court then was ignorant and lost in dreams. The phoenix guided the way, and Buddhism settled in China, blossoming into five petals. It spread the compassion of Mahaprajna and demonstrated the grandeur of Anuttara. With great compassion, it restored the celestial feelings and brought peace to the earth; with vision and wisdom, it ensured eternal stability. Undefiled, it pervades the three thousand worlds; all phenomena are empty yet firmly established in the twelve Nidānas. The Buddha, living as a hermit, studied the realm of great emptiness. Both truth and illusion are empty, supplementing each other, with thoughts arising from Nidānas; the Dharma Eye sees the truth of all laws, united as one--the people educated, the customs purified, the benevolent conducts repaid, the humanity eventually overtopped barbarity. Alas, the brilliance of his scriptures spread far and wide, of which the virtues reconstruct the social norms and mores, guiding masses to abandon ignorance till his Complete Nirvana.
