Central China and its Nine Vast Branches

河山拱戴 ，形胜甲于天下。以洛阳为主体的中原大地，不仅是最早的中国，而且又坚定地维系着东方古老民族的精神图谱。三千年前古老而苍凉的北邙，武王挟覆纣之勇，惊天长喟，“我南望三涂，北望岳鄙，顾詹有河，粤詹雒伊，毋远天室”。

Since ancient times, there have been mountains and rivers in Luoyang, which is superior to the rest of the world. The Central Plains, with Luoyang as the main body, is not only the earliest China, but also firmly maintains the spiritual map of the ancient oriental nations. Three thousand years ago, on the ancient and desolate Mangshan Mountain, King Wu of Zhou Dynasty, who had the courage to overthrow King Zhou of Shang Dynasty, sighed in shock: "I can see the Three Tu Shan to the south, Yuebi Mountain to the north, the Yellow River to the back, the Luohe River and the Yihe River to the distance, therefore, I don't have to build a capital far away from here."

画家侯震就工作生活在这片广袤的土地。四十年间，侯震游历于河洛之间，饱览嵩岳太室，长足深涉其间，又以不辍之笔调搜尽川谷峰峦。太史公激荡千年的文字，诱发了厚积的沉思，侯震以诗人的气度、画家的格赋、乐者的韵致，将古老的中国——不仅是地理意义上，更多是精神的图腾，构筑成意象万千、浩瀚如海的壮丽画卷。

The painter Hou Zhen lived and worked in this vast land. During forty years, Hou Zhen traveled between the land of Heluo, enjoying the scenery of the Mount Song and Mount Taishi, stepped forward to explore them, and unswervingly painted countless peaks and valleys with his brush. Sima Qian's words, which have stirred up for thousands of years, have induced deep meditation. Mr. Hou, with the poet's bearing, the painter's style and the musician's charm, built the ancient China, not only in the geographical sense, but also as a totem of spirit, into a magnificent picture with thousands of images and vastness.

让我们沿着画家给出的线索，立于明月美术馆穹庭之下，去充分感悟这样的场景。从太子沟浓郁的阴蓊里，从流淌千年的湍急中，或可分辨出岁月的昏晓。日出嵩岳，太室曜目，古刹既出，极望岳尊，巍若赤壁，浮光染尽；百川千壑，扶摇直上，惟余苍茫；千古帝都，云帆直挂，竞发天下；但看大河之水，自天而落，又远去更为无穷的浩瀚。这是一曲不朽的旋律，它华美的乐章，奏响民族坚韧不屈的性格；这是一副永恒的构式，它以巍峨的轮廓，筑成天地间的精神浮屠；这是一壁坚韧的雕刻，它那每一刀痕迹，凿开了历史的缝隙，摒弃了暗夜的羁绊，迎接未来的洗礼；这是一座丰碑，在怅惘与苍莽的交际中，冲破阴鸷与沉郁，当众生的希冀和着霞光爬上巅峰之时，雄纳千古风流而气吞山河。

From the rich shade of Taizigou, from the historical turbulence flowing for thousands of years, we may be able to distinguish the twilight of the time. At sunrise, Mount Taishi is dazzling, and ancient temples emerge in front of everyone, overlooking the Central Great Mountain(Mount Song) as far as the eye can see, towering like the Red Cliff, with floating light dyed out; Hundreds of rivers and valleys soar, leaving only the boundless afterglow; After thousands of years of imperial city, the sails on the river have all risen, competing to set out to all corners of the country; But looking at the water of the Yellow River, it seems to fall from the sky and flow to the endless distance. This is an immortal melody, its gorgeous movement, playing the tenacious and unyielding character of the nation; This is an eternal structure, which builds a spiritual pagoda between heaven and earth with a lofty outline; This is a tough sculpture, and every trace of it seems to have cut a gap in history with a knife, abandoned the fetters of the dark night and welcomed the baptism of the future; This is a monument, which has broken through the gloom in the communication of frustration and vastness. When the hope of all beings climbed to the peak with the glow of the sun, this oil painting gathered the eternal wind and painted the grandeur of swallowing mountains and rivers.
