2025年2月16日，由艺术粮仓、敦煌文博会展事中心联合主办，天熙文旅(敦煌)有限公司协办，敦煌文旅集团、广至传媒支持的2025当代艺术敦煌论坛在敦煌市成功举办，此次论坛特邀了艺术家、策展人、建筑师、媒体评论、艺术机构的负责人20余人参加，论坛的发起源自于去年元旦在敦煌组织的“2024当代艺术敦煌行”的在地交流与讨论活动。

当代艺术敦煌论坛将进一步促进文化艺术的对话与互鉴，推动不同形态在各自纬度之间的相互理解和尊重。在全球范围内来探索当代艺术地方性发展与趋势，促进交流，加快活动互动频次，保持内容思维创新的活力，深入挖掘敦煌文化遗产的价值，使当代艺术创作的有效性，实现文化创造性转化与创新性实践发挥更大价值。通过学术研讨、艺术活动和论坛，激发新的艺术思维，推动艺术创作，搭建具有国际视野下的当代艺术平台。当代艺术敦煌论坛可以通过公共教育活动、艺术展览和学术讲座等形式，推动艺术教育的普及，提升公众的艺术鉴赏和审美。

The 2025 Contemporary Art Dunhuang Forum, co-hosted by the Art Granary and Dunhuang Cultural Heritage Exhibition Center, and organized by Tianxi Cultural Tourism (Dunhuang) Co., Ltd., with the support of Dunhuang Cultural Tourism Group and Guangzhi Media, was successfully held in Dunhuang City on February 16, 2025. The forum invited over 20 participants, including artists, curators, architects, media critics, and heads of art institutions.

The forum originated from the on-site exchange and discussion event organized in Dunhuang during the New Year's holiday of 2024, known as "2024 Contemporary Art Dunhuang Journey."

The Contemporary Art Dunhuang Forum aims to further promote dialogue and mutual learning in the field of culture and art, fostering understanding and respect across different forms and dimensions. On a global scale, it seeks to explore the local development and trends of contemporary art, promote communication, increase the frequency of interactions, and maintain the vitality of innovative thinking in content. The forum also seeks to deeply explore the value of Dunhuang's cultural heritage, ensuring that contemporary artistic creation achieves effective cultural transformation and innovation, thus playing a greater role in creative practice.

Through academic discussions, art activities, and forums, the forum aims to inspire new artistic thinking, advance artistic creation, and build a contemporary art platform with an international perspective. The Contemporary Art Dunhuang Forum will promote the popularization of art education through public education activities, art exhibitions, and academic lectures, enhancing the public's appreciation and aesthetic understanding of art.
