编者按：

本篇文字取自“草叶菩提.徐冬青作品展”展厅内的板块内容。

整个展厅的划分采用了诗性的方式，分为三个部分。第一部分为“植物的智慧/生长性文字”；第二部分为“流动的生命/流动性文字”；第三部分为“莲花物语/心性文字”。整个展陈设计巧妙地结合了中国卷轴形式与现代设计元素，呈现出传统与现代的融合。展厅中的文字以中英文双语方式呈现。

值得一提的是，展览的三个段落并非按照艺术风格或题材进行划分，而是以诗性的视角进行铺展叙事。这三段文字不仅是展览的重要组成部分，更是整个展览意识核心的出发点。

植物的智慧

植物的属性是垂直状态。具有更大的精神性象征意义。

生长，但不发出声音。

显现，却不四处行走。

在不动中开花结果。

以前我看它们是为表现我自己的感受，现在我看是被深深吸引。在凝视的过程中它们就能直接的给你。

Wisdom of Plants

The attitude of plants is vertical, which symbolises a much stronger spirituality.

They grow noiselessly,

Present yet unmoving,

Blooming and bearing fruit in an enduring stillness.

Before, I looked to them as a form of self expression; but now I am drawn to them. Just by gazing at them, they give me more than I ever could have imagined.

流动的生命

万物都有呼吸，哪怕是一块石头。更深的道理就在无时无刻中。

阿维尼翁两天一夜的大风，每天都像在告诉事情。感觉二十世纪也成为古典艺术的一部分了。世界在流动。生命体验在时间和空间的交集中转化为作品。

作为人在这个新的世纪里具有了特殊的存在意义。呼吸，泪流，疼痛，最简单的眼神，在某一天都变得无比珍贵。

在本源处一切都很圆满。

Flowing Life

All creation breathes, even stones.

Every moment leading to a more profound understanding.

Overnight's gusty wind in Aveyron as if it were trying to tell me something. I feel like art in the 20th century has become a component of classical art. The world is like a flowing river. Lived experience is intertwined and woven with time and space to create art.

Being human, we possess a more significant meaning of existence in this new century.

Some day, every breath, every tear, every hurt will become precious, even the simplest of looks.

Everything becomes a whole in Origin of Self.

莲花告诉我

花瓣的展开总要有个依凭之处，每朵花都有一个花心。

万物显现也都有一个出发点，那就是每个人的那颗心。

而心无形无相，无从描述。念头来来往往，不知从所何来。

是什么导致莲花开放。

你，就是本源。

Lotus Told Me

Flowers need an origin point to open up their petals, each has their own heart centre.

Every creation appears for a reason, it comes from everyone's heart.

The mind is intangible, indescribable. It comes and goes without trace.

What makes a lotus bloom?

It's you, the Origin of Self.
