​2025年早春，一场及时雨涤净洛杉矶山火余烬，这座城市在细雨润泽中苏醒。恰逢其时，以第30届洛杉矶艺术展、第六届弗里兹洛杉矶艺术博览会为代表的艺术盛事重磅回归，以涅槃重生的姿态点亮城市天际线。第30届洛杉矶艺术展将于19日开展，来自全球多个国家的100多家参展商将展示其不断扩大的全球影响力。20日，第六届弗里兹洛杉矶艺术博览会，延续了往届对场地空间与艺术展示结合的创新探索，强调当代艺术的多元性与国际化，以“艺术激活城市”为核心，通过多元的展览、社会倡议及跨界合作，展现了洛杉矶作为文化熔炉的活力。

此外，洛杉矶多家艺术文化机构将同步举办重磅艺术展览活动。我受ACCA画廊之邀，策划并参展的“ACCA当代视野” 展览也将于15日在洛杉矶艺站美术馆率先开幕。该展作为“传统大师 当代视野-2025洛杉矶艺术季” 活动之一，继前序三大艺事：“Clars洛杉矶冬季艺术品拍卖会”，“湛庐·首届北美私人珍藏精品展-中国艺术珍品及名家书画展”，“洪波：行走在水墨与青绿之间-洛杉矶站”，成功举办之后，即将如约而至。由ACCA画廊推荐，来自世界各地跨多个学科的艺术家将在此展示他们的创新作品，包括 AI 生成的艺术、摄影、绘画和传统工艺。展品探索广泛的主题，涵盖艺术作品的评价、品牌依赖、文化的科学表现以及受非洲图案启发的抽象景观等。这二十多位长住美国但来自世界各地的参展艺术家，带来约八十多件参展作品将为观众呈现一场精彩纷呈的艺术盛宴。

此次展览将多元化的艺术家群体聚集在一起，参展艺术家的多元化体现在作者来自全球不同国家不同身份背景，体现在艺术作品采取多元的媒材与类型的综合呈现，也体现在艺术跨界创作。艺术多元产生了跨界现象，跨界创作正是当代艺术多元化的表现。当代艺术的精神内核在此得到充分彰显：通过实验性语言重构现实认知，以批判性视角审视技术伦理，用参与式创作激活公众对话。这些深植于当下语境的创作实践，恰恰印证了当代艺术作为时代镜像与社会实验室的双重属性。跨界创作让当代艺术与大众审美更贴近，“ACCA Contemporary Visions” 展览通过这场兼具思辨张力与感官冲击的当代艺术现场，有望成为一次独特而迷人的艺术体验，让观众得以一窥世界各地艺术家的创作视野。

In the early spring of 2025, a timely rain cleansed the remnants of Los Angeles’ wildfires, awakening the city under a nourishing drizzle. Coinciding with this renewal, major art events—including the 30th Los Angeles Art Show and the 6th Frieze Los Angeles Art Fair—returned in grandeur, illuminating the city’s skyline with a spirit of rebirth. The 30th Los Angeles Art Show will open on the 19th, featuring over 100 exhibitors from around the world and showcasing its expanding international influence. On the 20th, the 6th Frieze Los Angeles Art Fair continues its innovative exploration of integrating spatial design with artistic presentation, emphasizing the diversity and globalism of contemporary art. Centered around the theme “Art Activates the City,” the fair highlights Los Angeles’ cultural vitality through multifaceted exhibitions, social initiatives, and cross-disciplinary collaborations.

Concurrently, numerous Los Angeles art institutions will host significant exhibitions. At the invitation of ACCA Gallery, I am honored to curate and participate in ACCA Contemporary Visions, which will debut at the LA Art Station on the 15th. This exhibition is part of the Traditional Masters, Contemporary Visions: 2025 Los Angeles Art Season program, following three preceding events: the Clars Los Angeles Winter Fine Art Auction, Zhanlu·Inaugural North America Private Collection Exhibition: Chinese Art Treasures and Master Paintings, and Hong Bo: Walking Between Ink and Blue-Green. Recommended by ACCA Gallery, artists from diverse disciplines worldwide will present innovative works, including AI-generated art, photography, painting, and traditional crafts. The exhibited pieces explore themes such as the evaluation of artistic value, brand dependency, scientific representations of culture, and abstract landscapes inspired by African motifs. Over 20 artists—residing in the U.S. but hailing from around the world—will present approximately 80 works, offering audiences a captivating visual feast.

This exhibition unites a multicultural cohort of artists, reflecting diversity not only in their global backgrounds but also in their interdisciplinary use of media and genres. Cross-boundary creation epitomizes the pluralism of contemporary art, whose core ethos lies in redefining perceptions of reality through experimental languages, scrutinizing technological ethics from critical perspectives, and fostering public dialogue through participatory practices. These deeply contextualized works underscore contemporary art’s dual role as both a mirror of the times and a social laboratory. By bridging art and public aesthetics, ACCA Contemporary Visions presents a contemplative yet sensory experience, inviting audiences to glimpse the creative horizons of artists worldwide.
