葫蘆，外殼堅致，內藏天地。它既是水瓢酒甕，可納人間煙火；亦是靈物法器，能吞吐雲海、涵攝日月。正如宋代張繼先所言“藏得乾坤”，這小小一器，從來不止於形。

本系列特取圓形畫幅，既合“圓滿”之吉意，亦應“藏納”之深蘊。天圓地方的宇宙觀、園林移步換景的造境智慧，皆凝於這一圓之中。方寸之間，四季流轉，詩景暗藏。

《壺天自春》以層疊之綠寫生機，肌理似根莖蔓延、流水潺潺，透出春日勃發的張力。 《壺中別有日月天》巧分金碧，如“半江瑟瑟半江紅”，一丸橘紅葫蘆棲於霞色間，自成寧靜宇宙。《葫蘆杓酌春濃酒》化碧葫蘆入暖橘背景，  將濃烈春意釀為醇厚視覺，引人微醺。《華池流玉》則以溫潤筆觸勾勒，  背景清透如玉映波光， 靜謐中自生華彩。

《金玉滿輪藏乾坤》取金玉交織之色，寓“金玉滿堂”之期，圓幅如環，似將浩渺乾坤從容在握。《日月存心近》色調柔和靜穆，葫蘆靜佇中央，如心涵萬象，映照人與天地共呼吸的安然。《煙霞入夢清》以淡彩暈染空濛之境，葫蘆隱現其間，如滌盡塵囂，引心入靜。《玉壺舞魚龍》借神話之思，以靈動筆意繪魚龍虛影環遊壺側，氣韻流動，虛實相生。

全系列以圓為境，以葫蘆為鑰。在這圓融的畫幅之中，葫蘆不僅是靜觀的客體，更如一扇無聲開啟的門，邀人步入其內——那裡藏納著文化的深意、自然的真趣，與一筆一劃間安放的無盡匠心。

A Universe within the Jade Vessel

The gourd, with its hardy shell, contains a universe within. It serves as a ladle or wine jar, holding the warmth of mortal life; it is also a spiritual vessel, capable of breathing clouds and containing the sun and moon. As Song Dynasty poet Zhang Jixian said, it is capable of "holding the universe". This small object has always been more than its form.

This series employs the circular frame, aligning with the auspicious concept of "perfection" and echoing the profound idea of "containment". The cosmological view of a round heaven and square earth, and the garden design wisdom of "scenery changing with every step"—all are condensed within this circle. Within this small space, the four seasons flow, and poetic scenes lie hidden.

Eternal Spring paints vitality with layered greens, its textures resembling spreading roots and babbling streams, exuding the vibrant tension of spring. A World of Sun and Moon ingeniously divides gold and jade, like "half the river emerald, half the river red", with an orange gourd resting amidst the sunset hues, forming its own serene cosmos. Sipping Rich Spring Wine transforms a jade-green gourd against a warm orange background, fermenting intense springtime into a rich visual feast, inducing a gentle intoxication. Jade Flowing in the Splendid Pool uses gentle brushstrokes against a background clear as jade reflecting ripples, brilliance born from tranquility.

Full Circle Whole World employs interwoven gold and jade colors, symbolizing the wish for "abundant wealth and honor". The circular frame resembles a ring, as if holding the vast universe with ease. As Within, So Near features soft, serene tones, with a gourd standing calmly at the center, like a mind encompassing all things, reflecting the peace of humans breathing with heaven and earth. A Dream Refined by Dawn uses light washes to create a hazy, ethereal scene where the gourd faintly appears, as if cleansing worldly noise, guiding the heart into stillness. Fish-Dragons Leaping in a Jade Vessel draws on mythical imagination, using fluid brushwork to depict the illusory forms of fish and dragons circling the vessel, where energy flows and reality blends with illusion.

The entire series uses the circle as the realm and the gourd as the key. Within these harmonious frames, the gourd is not merely a static object of contemplation. It is more like a silently opened door, inviting one to step inside: here lies the depth of culture, the true delight of nature, and the boundless craftsmanship contained within each brushstroke.
