“ 一年好景君须记，最是橙黄橘绿时。”苏轼一语，道尽秋日精髓——那温暖、丰硕而绚烂的色彩。这组作品，便是那“好景”的视觉篇章。

画布上，葫芦褪去青涩，披上一身金与橘，在秋意渐染的藤叶间低垂， 沉甸甸的，仿佛挂住了整个季节的分量。

画面定格了圆熟时的诸般情态：有的匀净光洁，温润如蜜；有的憨拙可喜，形态天成。那暖橘，  是吸饱阳光的颜色， 与藤蔓交织，如枝头悬起的串串灯笼， 照亮园子，也点亮观者眼中祥和的喜悦。

葫芦的生命，贯通着人间烟火与吉祥灵性。可食，可器，扎根于生活；亦被赋予福禄、平安之愿，乃至成为神话里涵纳天地的灵物。我以油彩的层染与交融，来贴近这份既入世又超然的气质。

笔意追求“似与不似之间”，让油彩在浓郁中亦透出水墨的呼吸。《洞宾踢碎金葫芦》以奔涌肌理写动势，藤蔓扭结，冲突呼之欲出；《玉壶迸出黄金液》则让色彩碰撞迸溅，如甘浆自熟透的葫芦中淌出，连枝叶都浸在暖融融的秋光里。

这系列是对田园丰年的礼赞，亦是以当代油彩对传统吉祥意象的温情转译。愿观者不仅能见“橙黄橘绿”之灿然，亦能感受其中所蕴藏的、源自土地与时间的祝福。

Golden Autumn Gourd Hues

"A year's finest scene you must recall, is when oranges yellow and tangerines are green." Su Shi's words capture the essence of autumn—its warm, abundant, and splendid colors. This collection of works is a visual chapter of that "finest scene".

On the canvas, the gourds shed their green youth, donning robes of gold and orange. They hang low amidst vines gradually tinted by autumn, heavy, as if holding the full weight of the season.

The frames capture various states of ripe maturity: some even and smooth, warm as honey; others charmingly simple, perfectly formed by nature. That warm orange is the color of sunlight absorbed to the brim, interwoven with vines like strings of lanterns hung from branches, illuminating the garden and kindling a serene joy in the viewer's eyes.

The life of the gourd connects the warmth of human life with auspicious spirituality. Edible, utilitarian, rooted in daily life; it is also endowed with wishes for fortune, prosperity, and peace, even becoming a spiritual vessel containing heaven and earth in myth. The layering and blending of oils are used to capture this dual nature: at once grounded and transcendent.

The brushwork seeks that space "between likeness and unlikeness", allowing the oil pigments, rich as they are, to retain the breathing rhythm of ink wash. Lu Dongbin Kicks the Golden Gourd captures dynamic tension through surging textures, with twisted vines suggesting imminent conflict, while Gold Erupts from a Jade Vessel lets colors collide and burst forth, like sweet sap flowing from a ripened gourd, immersing even leaves and branches in the warm, radiant autumn light.

This series is a tribute to the abundance of the pastoral harvest, and also a warm, contemporary translation of traditional auspicious imagery through oils. May viewers not only see the brilliance of "oranges yellow and tangerines green", but also feel within them the blessings rooted in the land and time.
