This work takes water as its sole realm, rippling a clear, cool expanse within The Gourd as a Paradise. Cool blue-green tones suggest deep, serene waters; silvery-white textures resemble broken waves catching light. Here, the universe contained within the gourd transforms into a spiritual domain where shadowy waves sway gently.

The painting is grounded in deep ocean blues and emerald greens. Ink-dark vines stretch as if soaked in water, with a soft, pendulous weight. Orange-yellow gourds hang among them, like warm jade floating on the waves, appearing even more luminous against the cool hues. Their forms remain round and whole, yet their essence seems to flow with the colors—the quiet depth of blue-green reflecting the bright warmth of orange-yellow, like wind stirring water or stars shimmering on night waves.
