对我而言， “万福余裕”系列是与民间吉语的一场漫长对话。我尝试将那些流传千年的“福禄”“有余”之愿，化为油彩中可触的形体、可感的色彩与可呼吸的生机。

葫芦吸引我，不只因其象征“福禄”，更因它那包容的姿态——能纳万物，亦能承载无穷祈愿。在画布上，我让它们或低垂成簇，或随藤蔓蜿蜒伸展，将时光与丰饶织入绵延的轨迹中。游鱼的跃动，则让“余”的意涵活了起来，成为光影间一道灵动的笔迹。

我以油彩探寻东方的温度。厚涂堆栈出饱满的肌理，粗砺的笔触勾勒出藤蔓生长的劲道。用色浓郁而真挚， 一如祝福本身。构图上，我总在“满”中留“空”——丰盛与余地，本就是吉祥的一体两面。

这创作，是我向文化源头的一次静心回归。我将那些朴素而深远的祝愿，托付于油彩这一媒介，不是移栽，而是生根。最终呈现在画面上的，不只是葫芦与鱼影，更是一句句可见可触的吉祥言语。

Abundant Blessings and Bountiful Ease

To me, the Abundant Blessings and Bountiful Ease series is a long dialogue with the auspicious language of folk tradition. I have tried to transform wishes for "fortune, prosperity, and abundance" passed down through millennia into tangible forms, perceptible colors, and breathing vitality within oil paint.

What draws me to the gourd is not only its symbolism of "fortune and prosperity", but also its gesture of embrace—its capacity to hold all things and bear endless hopes. On the canvas, I let them hang in clusters or stretch along winding vines, weaving time and abundance into continuous, flowing lines. The leaping fish animates the notion of "surplus", becoming a lively brushstroke dancing between light and shadow.

Through oils, I seek an Eastern warmth. Impasto layers build full, rich textures, while bold, coarse brushstrokes outline the resilient strength of growing vines. The colors are intense and sincere, much like blessings themselves. In composition, I always leave "emptiness" within "fullness"—for plenitude and space are two inseparable facets of the auspicious.

This creative process is a mindful return to cultural roots for me. Entrusting these simple yet profound wishes to the medium of oil paint is not mere transplantation, but a rooting. What finally appears on the canvas is not just gourds and fish, but visible, tangible words of good fortune.
