时光荏苒，我在荷塘这一主题上已探索了十数载。然而每每重逢 2011 年创作的这幅《新荷绿影》，画布间那股迸发而出的原始生命力，依然令我心动如初。这帧大尺幅作品，是我早期创作中格外厚重的一笔，见证了我与荷塘题材之间那次真诚而深刻的对话。

在这张宽阔的画布上，我将盛夏荷塘的蓬勃张力铺展得淋漓尽致。浓郁交叠的绿、劲道沉着的蓝，在刀痕与笔触的纵横间奔腾翻卷，仿佛随时要漫出边际。每一片荷叶都挣脱平面的束缚，带着近乎雕塑的立体感迎面涌来。而在这片起伏的绿色波涛中， 十八朵新荷疏落有致地挺立——它们以厚涂的纯白构成视觉的韵律，或昂然盛放，或半掩轻羞，共同协奏出一曲生动的生命交响。

多年后再次凝望，我仍能触及创作时那份纯粹而炽热的冲动。这十八朵姿态不一的素荷、这扑面而来的浓郁绿意、这巨幅画面所承载的丰沛情感——它们不仅记录了一片盛夏荷塘的荣茂，更凝固了一颗年轻艺术心灵毫无保留的挚爱。这份最初的“悸动”，至今仍在我笔下的每一缕水纹、每一瓣荷香中静静延续，成为我创作生涯里始终流淌的底色。

Time flows onward, and I have explored the theme of the lotus pond for over a decade. Yet

whenever I revisit this 2011 work, Fresh Lotus in Full Bloom, the raw vitality bursting forth from the canvas still moves me as deeply as it did at first. This large-format piece stands as an especially bold stroke from my early career—a testament to the sincere and profound dialogue I once held with the subject of the lotus pond.

Across this broad canvas, I laid out the lush tension of a midsummer pond to its fullest. Rich,

overlapping greens and vigorous, steady blues surge and swirl between the marks of the palette knife and the strokes of the brush, as if about to spill beyond the edges. Every lotus leaf breaks free from the flat surface, rising with an almost sculptural dimensionality, rushing toward the viewer. And within these rolling waves of green, eighteen fresh lotuses stand in graceful disorder—their thickly painted pure white forms creating a visual rhythm, some boldly blooming, others half-shyly veiled, together composing a vivid symphony of life.

Gazing at it again years later, I can still touch that pure, fervent impulse from the time of its creation.

These eighteen plain lotuses in varied postures, this overwhelming verdant lushness, the abundant emotion carried by this grand composition—they not only record the glory of a summer lotus pond, but also solidify the unreserved devotion of a young artistic heart.
