我的绘画希望通过借鉴早期中国传统绢本画的经典图式去呈现当代人自身情绪和处境的困惑。作品所使用的材质、媒介及表现技巧尽可能还原自晋唐以来以绢素为载体的绘画方式，但在貌似精心营造的古典氛围中，存在着一个与古不同的的身影。

就这张作品而言，我试图借助传统中国绘画中的常用符号“屏风” 来表现对有关“情欲 ”、“意识 ”、“感知”等问题的思考，屏风的存在为画面提供了一个表达精神隐喻的封闭空间。它分隔出了真实和虚境的不同维度，同时又互为镜诠，为画外的观者提供了一个丰富的联想空间。

By employing in my works the classic schema of early traditional Chinese silk paintings, I hope to display contemporary human’s confusions about their situations and emotions. The materials, media and techniques of expression are intended to follow the style of silk paintings since the Western Jin Dynasty (A.D.265 - 420) and the Tang Dynasty (A.D.618 - 907). However, there is a unique figure living in the retro atmosphere that seems having been elaborately created.

In this work, I attempt to use folding screen, a common symbol in traditional Chinese paintings, to display thoughts concerning lust, consciousness, perceptions, etc. The folding screen adds to the painting an enclosed space to express metaphors of the inner world. It separates reality from virtuality, which reflects each other as mirrors, providing viewers with much room for imaginations.
