The solo exhibition "Art in the Clouds" by French artist Françoise Issaly in Shanghai, opened on July 19th, Sunday.
During the past 2 years living and working in Hangzhou, French artist Françoise Issaly has studied Chinese art and Buddhism. This search of synthesis and inner equilibrium is revealed by her obsession with lines and patterns, that is why she is creating the Clouds series, inspired by Chinese traditional art. She inserts these flowing elements in her artworks, creating amazing compositions that invite the public to meditate. The simplicity of forms and vibrating colors represent the signature of this original and unique artist.
