Atanur Dogan

       Atanur is a Turkish-Canadian watercolour artist. He graduated from Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey, majoring painting and sculpture. He is the best known for his portraits and figures.

       Atanur Dogan is the Founder and President of theInternational Watercolour Society (IWS), an institution he founded to promote and unite watercolour art and artists to bring peace to the world in 2012. It has become one of the most active art societies in the world and there are over 100 countries with IWS branches.   

       His significant achievements include being selected as one of five portrait artists, deemed best in the world by the Portrait Society of Canada in 2004.   

       Dogan’s paintings enrich art collections around the world and the museums. He has participated in more than 250 exhibitions worldwide and gives workshops around the globe.
