雍正通宝为清世宗爱新觉罗胤禛的铸币。康熙61年末康熙帝驾崩。胤禛继位，次年改元雍正铸造雍正通宝。雍正时对钱法管制甚严，所以私铸很少，凡私铸者皆处以极刑。雍正钱制作规整，面文背文规范，铜质精良，是清钱中少而精的品种。官方记载雍正共有20个铸钱局，分别为户部宝泉局，工部宝源局，云南宝云局，四川宝川局，贵州宝黔局，甘肃宝巩局，河南宝河局，湖南宝南局，浙江宝浙局，安徽宝安局，江西宝昌局，湖北宝武局，山东宝济局，山西宝晋局。江苏宝苏局，陕西宝陕局，台湾宝台局，广东宝广局，福建宝宝福局，广西宝桂局。

此枚钱币为宝浙局铸造，背文以满文纪局。看面文圆滑，字体软弱，通甬字弯腰，宝下最后撇捺，甬不弯腰，是直立的，宝下贝封口，两角近似点，为少见横字通，雍正时期由于铜材紧缺， 铸币数量锐减，许多局停铸或合并，不少铸局铸行时间不长。据史料载 ：浙江宝浙局于雍正七年 开铸，至十一年停，大约 4 年时间。因此，其铸币数量应该是较大的。 宝浙局雍正通宝主要版式可分为角头通与方头通两种。在雍正各局铸币中，多数为角头通版式， 一局中具有角头通和方头通的只有云、晋、武、川、浙五局，其中宝浙局方头通版式最多。此外， 宝浙局雍正通宝还有小样、私铸等小钱，这在整个雍正钱中也是少见的，具有较高的历史与市场价值。
