大清铜币，学名清代机制铜圆，铸造始于1900年(清光绪二十六年)，止于1911年(宣统三年)，流通时间较短，故存世量异常稀少，被誉为钱币精品，具有无法估量的学术与历史价值。其中在1911年（宣统三年）推出一套新铜元，仍称“大清铜币”，同时规定新、旧铜元暂时铜元，以补新铜元之不足，但是这一币制改革方案还未来得及实施，就爆发了辛亥革命，随之清朝灭亡。

Copper coins of the Qing Dynasty, the scientific name of the Qing Dynasty mechanism, were coined in 1900 (26 years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty) and ended in 1911 (three years of Xuantong period). “大清铜币”当十铜圆共有二十个省局铸造。除中央户部铸造者外，地方各省所铸铜圆，皆在其正面中央镌刻阴文或阳文省名简称。计有：1、中央户部；2、直；3、吉；4、奉；5、汴；6、鄂；7、湘；8、川；9、云；10、滇；11、川滇；12、赣；13、闽；14、粤；15、浙；16、苏；17、淮；18、皖；19、东；20、宁。其中，吉字最少；川滇、云字次之；滇、赣、苏、浙、东字再次之；余皆多见。

Among them, Ji is the least; Sichuan-Yunnan and Yunnan are the second; Yunnan, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Dongzi are the second; the rest are more common.
