散落于光影的时间——读彭常安油画有感

  光,赋予世界五彩斑斓的颜色,也是油画艺术中最重要的一门语言,几个世纪的艺术家都在不断探索着如何捕捉光影变化下丰富多姿的世界。在传统的宗教信仰中,光是神的意志,在科学技术的实证主义中,光是视觉世界的本质。从古希腊、古罗马到文艺复兴时期,从炫丽的巴洛克、严谨的新古典到18世纪以及后来的“印象主义”,欧洲绘画史既是一部欧洲文明发展的视觉史,也是一部关于光的运用的发展史。法国20世纪初期野兽派绘画的斗士、立体主义艺术的创始者之一德朗曾说:“绘画的惟一材质是光。”这句话道出了光在绘画艺术中的重要价值与特殊意义。崇尚简淡水墨的东方,也有这样一批艺术家在色彩与光线的变化中探索艺术的真谛,彭常安先生就是其中之一。

  彭常安 1990年毕业于四川美术学院;多年来,在北京、成都之间来回,感受北京浓厚的艺术氛围,也独享川蜀的人杰地灵。彭先生的油画用一种单纯的形式风格,以东方式静穆、和谐、简约、单纯、带来迥异于西方躁动、精谨、复杂的冲突之美。这种情致与中国传统绘画意境之“简”、“淡”“自然”“空灵”生发默契。

  在风景画中,作者执着地选取了单纯的符号,单纯的结构,单纯的序列性组合,单纯的色调,甚至是单纯的选材。在《垂柳·睡莲》描绘的池塘风景画中,画面中水面占了整个构图的2/3,在垂直的平面上,用堆叠的色彩描绘出波光粼粼的水面向远处延伸的视觉效果。池岸的背景是一片翠绿。而从天空远处云朵里投射出来的光使压抑的气氛一下子“精神”了起来。看似随意的彩色线条笔触柔美,似乎让水流动起来,又像是捉住了一瞬间水面似真似幻的光和影。站在画旁,就如同伫立在池塘旁边,竟能领略到“接天莲叶无穷碧,映日莲花别样红”的唐诗意境。18世纪英国艺术家荷加斯曾说过,蛇形线是最美的线条。另一幅风景《87.记忆》,画家用灵动丰富的曲线笔触,运用线的动势勾勒出山脉温婉连绵的气息。清新的绿色和亮眼的粉红色都凝聚着扑面而来的生命气息,他的明快如火苗一般的笔触与色彩强烈地感染着所有人。光影变幻下的自然让彭常安感到了快乐与幸福。西斯莱曾经说过:“最光辉绚烂的、最激动人心的天空,莫过于我们通常在夏季所看到的了——我指的是那种朵朵白云在四散移动的蔚蓝色天空。”正是沉醉于光影的变化,他把对自然清新生动的感观放到了首位,认真观察沐浴在光线中的自然景色。

  不同时期的大师们对于光线的不同运用与表现方式折射出他们各自的审美趣味与创作意图。海德格尔说:“艺术是用技术重新构造的一个世界。”无需说按照何种方式去运用这一绘画要素更贴切、更具艺术性,艺术之要旨在于达意、在于传情的深度。画画不是单纯地依靠某套系统或理论的指引,某刻无理论的焦虑或心境自然流露的放笔挥毫让作品来得惊艳。彭常安这些恣意潇洒的画,超越了西画与国画,油彩或水墨的界限之争。在画布上开启的既是他缘于内心深沉体验的精神之旅,也是画家对自己作为中国艺术家身份的惊觉。
