  De Grisogono Instrumento Doppio Tre

The Doppio Tre was commissioned to carry the maximum weight in solid gold. As 24K was too soft, only 18K was possible. The chronographs were replaced with a 3 timezone singular movement. In the 3 years of its production, sets of 10 to 12 were sold to countries to enable portable, transferable assets for emergencies.

The prices were US$83,000 per watch then in the early-2000s. A set of 12 allowed a family to effectively move close to half a million USD to begin a new life.

This piece is one of a set of 12. The present owner will grant a guarantee for 1 year, as it has been recently serviced fully.

It has a highly polished case, impervious to visible scratches. And its movement prevents counterfeits, the case construction itself was massive and incredibly tough. The Stingray skin strap was created to be cut to size, to prevent it from resale if stolen. Also Called: DOPPIO TRE-TR NO1

  Box, No Papers. Mint condition.

  估值新币: S$50,000 – S$65,000

Lot 47 Franck Muller “Double Face Chronograph”

All double faced chronographs were made in the large round size. At a special request, in 2009, Muller made this one of 6 pieces in his classic, original FM cintree curvex case. The difficult dials were executed by hand, fused by hand, decorated by hand. There was no alternative then.
Later models did not place the time at the centre, but at the 6 o'clock position
with the words "Double Faced" at 12 o'clock, due to extremely costly manufacturing procedure. The present owner retains a similar piece, but these glass dials of 3 layers are unique to these 6 existing pieces. The pricing was US$80,000 when new, double that for even more elaborately made movements from Germany.

Specially hand crafted by Franck Muller himself for the present owner. Unique single made, 18K Rose Gold.

Box & Papers. Mint condition.
估值新幣: S$50,000 - $65,000
