黎明笔下的山水境界优美奇峻，皴法丰富严谨，墨色浑然一体，在清劲简洁之中有苍阔雄浑之风。那吞吐于胸中的山光水色各有新意，真实地表现了大自然造化之神奇，把诗情画意融为一体，给观众留下广阔的想象空间。黎明的山水艺术，可以说是来自传统，成于写生，具有深厚的传统功力与修养，同时又自如地掌握西画的造型写实能力，这就为他在艺术上的探索求新，打下了扎实的基础。使他能够得心应手地描绘现实生活，反映时代风物。他的艺术实践表明“外师造化，中得心源”不仅仅是中国画学一种口头指令，更重要的是，它是能够在艰苦的探索中获得证验的箴言。

Learning from Nature & Gaining from Heart

　　Lai Ming’s landscape paintings are elegant and rich, carefully painted and coherently coloured, revealing a concise and majestic style. His landscape is innovative, which truly reflects the magic of nature and combines poetic mood and feelings as a whole to leave the audience with broad imagination. We may say that Lai’s painting art comes from tradition and develops in sketch. He possesses profound painting skills and disposition, but he also masters realistic skills of Western painting. These strengths enable him to explore, innovate and establish his solid foundation in painting, so that he can proficiently depict reality and reflect the times. His practice in art declares the rule of “Learning from Nature and gaining from heart”, which is not a mere instruction in Chinese painting, but, more importantly, it is a maxim that can be justified in tough exploration.
