许莹在中央美院从附中读到博士，以最严谨的态度和方式接受了造型训练和传统笔墨的训练，继承了中国画传统的笔墨语言，同时以灵动的笔墨与个性的造型形成了自己独特的绘画语言。许莹在宣纸上用飞舞的线条勾画出都市女性淡漠的表情，懒散的姿态，敏感的笔触展现出她独特的造型功力。许莹的作品里的女性有点自怜自爱，有时露着小女人的娇气，有时又豪情热辣，充满性感的诱惑，她们散淡的眼神飘然散落在画面之外，却透露出华丽背后的孤独，喧闹去尽后的寂寥，繁华过后的疲惫，还带着有一丝丝的忧伤，许莹用自己的方式记录了她们的美丽和细微的情绪，用她独特的笔墨撩动着灵魂深处的脆弱与不安，真实的传达出都市女性内心世界的隐密思绪，刻画出现代女性真实而又复杂的一面。

　　Xu Ying studied from the affiliated high school to PHD in Central Academy of Fine Arts and was trained on modeling and traditional painting skills in the most rigorous attitude and approach. She inherits Chinese traditional ink painting language and also has a unique painting language with smart ink and personality style. Xu Ying uses flying lines to draw urban women's indifferent expression and slouchy posture on the paper. Sensitive brushwork shows her unique styling skill. The women in Xu Ying's works feel a little self-pity and self-love. Sometimes are finicky little lady and sometimes are ambitious and hot with full of sexy temptation. The indifference in their eyes floats and scatters outside the picture but reveals the loneliness behind the gorgeous, the lonesome after the noise and the excitement disappeared, exhaustion after busy, as well as a trace of sadness. Xu Ying records their beauty and subtle emotions in her own way, flaps their fragile and uneasy soul with her unique pen and ink, really conveys secret thoughts in urban women's inner world, and depicts modern women's real and complex aspect.
