最近几年里，李戈晔似乎找到了一种适合自己的水墨画表达形式，于是，她就一直以一种循序渐进的方式经营画面，并努力使这些作品精益求精。

　　李戈晔的这些作品，表面上看都富有某种柔性的唯美因素。它们非常纯净，也非常平淡，并因为柔婉和流动而显示出亲和的状态；它们的主题，绝大多数与“水中”、“雨中”有关，与水中、雨中“漂浮”的泳人有关，与泳人“呼吸”的渴望有关。

　　“漂浮”的状态，可以产生许多不同的解读。有时，漂浮会令人因孤独无助而惶恐，而有时，却是一派纯任自由的欢畅。李戈晔的作品更多的倾向于后者，而且所有那些画面上的因素，似乎都来自于内心某种莫名的感受。

　　很显然，它们表达了当代都市生活中生存体验的某重焦虑意识，而那些如同装置作品一样“悬挂”起来的“漂浮”则不仅仅是一种形式上的刻意，应该更多地包含了一些关于不确定的隐喻。

　　There are several meanings about the condition of drift. Sometimes, drift can make people frightened, sometimes; it also can make people comfortable and free. The artworks of Li Geye are the second kind. Moreover, it looks as if the factors in her paintings are come from her innermost and inexplicable feelings.

　　Obviously, the paintings express our anxious consciousness in modern society,. The drift which is hung is not just one form, it also contains some indefinite metaphor.
