“21克”——杭州当代国际首饰与金属艺术三年展暨欧洲巡回展首站于2018年11月7日在中国浙江省杭州市中国美术学院民艺博物馆开幕，吸引了来自国内外的艺术家以及嘉宾和媒体。之后，21克展览欧洲巡回展览第一站于2019年3月11日在德国慕尼黑正式拉开序幕，在慕尼黑首饰周期间获得了广泛的关注和好评。紧接着，5月2日“21克”展览在波兰莱格尼察开幕，6月23日在比利时蒙斯开幕。现在，展览正在荷兰阿珀尔多伦进行。

“21g” –Hangzhou Contemporary International Jewelry and Metal Arts Triennial and Itinerant Exhibition was opened on November 7th, 2018 at the Craft Museum of China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, attracting artists,guests and media from home and abroad. After that, the first stop of the 21-gram exhibition European tour exhibition was successfully opened in Munich, Germany on March 11th, 2019, and received extensive attention and praise during the Munich Schmuck week. Then, on May 2nd, the "21g" exhibition opened in Legnica, Poland, and opened on June 23rd in Mons, Belgium. Now, the exhibition is in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands.

展览通过从根本上思考和解读首饰与金属艺术在国际、国内不同的范畴，探索首饰与金属艺术的在新技术时代下，艺术家如何面对和消除在艺术和手工艺之间的界域。同时，通过本次国际展，对艺术史、 后现代艺术理论、 社会学和人类学等跨学科领域的研究和艺术首饰与金属之间的流变进行梳理。

Through the fundamental thinking and interpretation of jewelry and metal art in different areas of international and domestic, the exhibition explores the jewelry and metal art in the new technology era, how artists face and eliminate the boundaries between art and crafts. At the same time, through this international exhibition, the research on interdisciplinary fields such as art history, post-modern art theory, sociology and anthropology and the changes between art jewelry and metal are sorted out.

展览内容概要：

为了证明灵魂的科学存在，Duncan MacDougall博士在1907年，对六位即将死亡的病人做了一个医学实验。他将病人安置在一个装有对重量变化极其敏感的称床上，测验出他们在生前死后的重量差。四位病人在死去之后的体重或很快或几分钟到几小时以后都减少了21克。这个最小限度的实验研究表明了灵魂具有一个特定的重量。

 “21Gram”这一主题的概念对艺术家而言具有一种神秘的空间想象的吸引力。21克的重量从字面和发挥的想象力上，对首饰艺术家而言，都是一个很大的挑战。在“21Gram”这一题目之下，我们希望策划一场展览，受邀参展的所有首饰与金属艺术家都围绕“21Gram”这一题目的重量概念和与灵魂有关的内容展开创作。

The Exhibition Content:

In order to prove the scientific existence of the soul, Dr. Duncan MacDougall conducted a medical experiment on six patients who were about to die in 1907. He placed the patient on a weighing bed that was extremely sensitive to weight changes and tested their weight difference after death. The four patients lost 21 grams after they died, either quickly or after a few minutes to a few hours. This minimal experimental study shows that the soul has a specific weight.The concept of the theme "21Gram" has an appeal to the mysterious space imagination of the artist. The weight of 21 grams is literally and imaginative, and it is a big challenge for jewellery artists. Under the topic of “21Gram”, we hope to plan an exhibition. All the jewellery and metal artists invited to participate in the exhibition will focus on the weight concept and soul-related content of the topic “21Gram”.
