毋庸置疑水墨属于中华文化中很重要的一个篇章，有关书画同源的话题由来已有千年之久。对于本人生于中国，活在今天，挥洒笔墨这样一种手势的习惯似乎天注定。和水墨画结缘也是一种必然，很难回避围绕笔墨的种种乐趣。

　　There is no doubt that the ink painting is an essential chapter of Chinese culture. The version that Chinese painting and calligraphy come from the same origin has been acquiesced for thousands of years. Born and living in China, I feel quite natural to hold the brush in hand and create ink arts. I am also destined to be connected with ink painting, and find it hard to be away from all the fun that ink arts gives to me.

　　要紧的是我必须真诚地面对当下的生活，而在展开工作和创作过程中加强自省能力。因此我拒绝老式的图式，落入古人窠臼自是毫无新意，更何来学术?

　　So it becomes important that I must have a sincere attitude toward my current life, and enhance my reflection in the course of my creative work. Hence, I refuse to fall in the out-of-date paradigms, since it is nothing but innovative, not to speak of the academic perspective.

　　在创作中我珍视偶然的因素，难以把握的意外加上作者的经验，好的艺术作品的成立当是天人合而为之，图式不是关键，问题是如何回归得道，是生命、生存及所从事的水墨艺术的本质呈现，来不得半点虚伪。

　　I highly cherish the accidental factors in my creation, and put my personal experience into those uncontrollable surprises. A fine art should be combined with the nature and the creator. The key point is not the paradigm, but that how to find the right track to return, and when it comes to how they could naturally represent life, existence and the ink art, there is zero tolerance for hypocrisy.

　　我端正态度，努力求变，努力完善。水墨已是我皈依的宗教，还有什么理由不处理好这一切?

　　I correct my attitude, and strive to seek changes in order to improve. Ink and wash arts has become my faith, and how could I fail to manage anything arising from it?
