人物背景

慈禧皇太后于1908年11月15日17点（未正三刻）逝世，享年七十四岁。在历史上慈禧皇太后有正面以及负面的评语，但是不可否认的是大清王朝在她的从政之下续命了数十年的光景。官制改定、准备立宪、废科举制度、禁止妇女缠足、兴办女学、新学、庚子退款建设教育事业等，都使得中国从封建社会走向了资本主义社会，从古代走向了现代。
