崇寧重寶，中國古錢幣之一。北宋徽宗崇寧年間鑄（西元1102年～1106年）。面文“崇寧重寶”隸書對讀，古樸方正，多為光背，少數背有星、月、十字等。

崇寧重寶是北宋末年比較重要的錢幣之一，也是北宋錢幣中版別最多的錢幣。據統計，崇寧重寶的版別大概在300多種，每年都有不同版別的崇寧重寶被行家或藏友發現。不同版別的崇寧重寶放在一起具有極高的收藏和觀賞價值

崇寧重寶鑄於北宋徽宗崇寧年間（西元1102年～1106年），材質有銅、鐵、銀。崇寧重寶為隸書銅、鐵大錢，製作多亦精好，存世較多。另有崇寧通寶錢文為徽宗禦書瘦金體，鐵劃銀鉤，深具骨秀格清之氣韻，書法超妙絕倫，堪稱幣文楷書之顛峰。世人評此為“宋代第一泉”，宋徽宗與王莽並稱中國錢法“二聖”，崇寧通寶版式多變，尚有鐵錢。

崇寧重寶錢文隸書，古樸方正，嚴謹莊重，法度固定。有人認為，崇寧重寶錢文也是徽宗所書，但史無定論。重寶版別幾百種，面背記號多，有花穿、决文、面星、背星月紋等，常能見到。

關於此錢，有一個傳說，謂其面文為蔡京所書，而蔡京書寫時別有用心地將“崇”字的山和宗的豎筆上下貫通，連成一線；將“寧”字繁體之中的“心”省略，被人指責為“有意破宋，無心甯國”。“崇寧”錢存世尚多，版別亦多，但迄今並未發現有如上所說這種寫法的錢幣。自然也有根據以上說法造假的，但那很容易辨別出來。囙此這段傳說得不到印證，至今仍是一個謎。

公元1100年1月，北宋皇帝哲宗病故，由其弟赵佶接替做了北宋第八任皇帝，为宋徽宗。徽宗＂性甚机巧，优于技艺＂，终日沉迷于书法绘画，不理朝纲。他在位25年，先后铸造了圣宋通宝、崇宁通宝（重宝）、大观通宝、政和通宝（重宝）、重和通宝、宣和通宝（元宝）等6种钱币，其中崇宁通宝和大观通宝的钱文是徽宗御笔亲书的瘦金体。令人叫绝的是折十型瘦金书体的崇宁通宝，青铜精制，文字骨秀格清，令人爱不释手。

專家評述：崇寧重寶精銅厚重，銅色深赤，溫潤光潔，古鏽生坑。光背，珍品版本，質樸灑脫，筆勢雄勁，包漿自然渾厚，造型古樸，紋飾精美，字體有這明顯的歷史銹蝕痕迹，實為稀見之品。具有極高的投資價值和收藏價值。
