从男性的视角来关注女性身体属自然行为，用艺术语言表达出来则又成了老达(陈连富)的艺术品。老达的艺术视角无疑是男性的、唯美的、主观的。他的艺术语言是写实的、具象的、典雅而又细腻。借助当代的中国女性人体，将这些因素融合在一起，却又具有一些非现实意味。

　　老达的人体雕塑的确围绕着女性肉体和性感展开的，而那些诉诸感官的肉体和性感又是围绕着女性的青春和青春展开的。雕塑的肉体和性感是具体的(借助了写实和唯美，凸显传统的性别视角)，而她们的青春和清纯却都是抽象的(通过更多的作品暗示出来，凸显了年龄上的反差)。也许正是这种双重性构成了引力。

　　穿越都市时尚生活当代女性都不可能“永恒的”留住各自的青春与清纯，并不限于女性。同样青春和清纯也不可能在视觉上挽救人的衰老之势。在这里，女性的身体仅仅是个借体，具有象征性。现实的女性处在变化之中，而抽象的理想静止在雕塑中。

　　伴随着艺术家身体的男性视角也不会是永。永恒的是在那个视角里看到的青春与清纯。老达和我们一样走在衰老的自然路上，而他那青春与清纯的理想则留在物质形态的作品里。

　　Flesh & Simplicity---About Lao Da's figure sculptures

　　From men's perspective,it is a natural behavior paying attention to the female body,and Lao Da has realized this point of view through the language of art.His perspective is undoutedly masculine,aesthetical,and subjective.His artistic language is practical,the illustrative,elegant and exquisite.With the contemporay Chinese female body,and to factor in all such elements,yet we can see something unreal.

　　Lao Da's figure sculptures have indeed been focusing on the illustration of the luring body and the sexual appeal of the female body,and the expression of the thrive and lust for human body and sexuality have been focusing on the youth and the innocence of women.In those sculpture works,the luring body and the sex appeal are concrete(with the aid of reality and aesthetics,it has highlighted traditional point of view of gender issue),but their youth and innocence are actually abstract(suggested through more works,with the age contrast has been highlighted).Perhaps,it is precisely this kind of duality that makes these works so attractive.

　　Passing thourgh the modern metropolis life,it is literally impossible for the young to retain their respective youth and innocence.And it is not only limited to the females,similarly,the visual impact that youth and innocence could exert won't be able to change the inevitable course of aging.Inthis regard,the female body serves a metaphorical function.In reality,the females have beenmoving across different positions,whilst the abstract ideality stands still in the sculpture.

　　The male's perspective that has been going along with the artist's bodu won't last forever,what will last forever would be the youth and innocence that has been highly desirable from the male's perspective.Lao Da,same as his fellow human beings,has been heading in the direction toward aging,however,his ideality and anticipation for youth and inocence would merely remain in the physical form of his art works.
