申树斌2021上海首个展，8月6日在Art-L Gallery上海空间绽放开幕。一次非常难得的在上海近距离观赏艺术家申树斌多幅近年代表作品的机会。苍茫天地间，以动物为元素的油画、水彩以及水墨，热爱生命和对生存环境有所思考的艺术爱好者不容错过。Art-L Gallery上海空间坐落在一处宁静而精致的私人小楼中，与艺术作品交融而赏心悦目，能给所有年龄层及不同人生境遇的观赏者幸福温馨的观展体验。

Shen Shubin's first Shanghai solo exhibition in 2021 will open at Art-L Gallery Shanghai space on August 6. You will see multiple representative works of the artist, Shen Shubin in recent years: oil paintings, watercolors, and inks with animal elements in his vast world in Shanghai. It's a rare opportunity, art lovers who love life and think about our living environment should not miss it. Art-L Gallery Shanghai is located in a quiet and exquisite private small building. It blends with artworks and is pleasing to the eye. It can give viewers of all ages and different life situations a happy and warm viewing experience.


此次个展命名为「生命之外」Beyond Creature，是申树斌及其作品继2017年民生美术馆及2019年岭南美术馆后在2021年首次来到上海Art-L Gallery, 不失为申树斌以动物为元素的创作大展的延续，也是在“天路重生”的悲壮，“天庭之在”的静穆后新的思考。

This Shen Shubin’s solo exhibition, named Beyond Creature, is the first time Shen and his artworks have come to Shanghai Art-L Gallery in 2021 after his exhibition at Beijing Minsheng Art Museum in 2017 and Lingnan Fine Arts Museum in 2019. It is a continuation of Shen's animal-element creation exhibitions, and it is also a new thinking after the tragic and majesty of "Rebirth on the Road of Pilgrimage" and the silence of "Being in the Heavenly Court".
Beyond creature is an open proposition, Perhaps we are about to approach the answer after this exhibition.

从乔治·奥威尔（GeorgeOrwell）到唐娜·哈拉维（Donna Haraway），时代的思想精英们思考了同一个问题：以动物的行为和逻辑来审视人类的社群、政治甚至性别问题，从一种实验意义上对动物种群抽样的进化重构行为，到性别和技术逻辑上对于物种行为的思考，都指向了生物进化过程中的主体意志问题。

动物的欲望冲动，生物的盲目生长，在叔本华看来都是意志本体的活动。“唯有意志是自在之物”，叔本华对于意志主体的内在本质和表象关系问题的结论，概括了生物进化过程中的意志和身体的同一性原理，强调了主观欲求的重要性。叔本华认为欲求是一切生命意志的本质。伯格森继叔本华和尼采之后总结了生物本能的“生命冲动”所包含的精神力量，强调了物种的运动和变化的状态，强调了“生命之流”的绵延。

动物的种群通过主观的意志聚合、重叠、排列成前景的各种形式，而背景却仿佛是人类灭绝之后的废墟。艺术家的在当代社会环境下的人文忧思即体现于画面边缘和背景的细节之中，通过人类灭绝之后的废墟之景或远古洪荒之景排除了人类的存在，取而代之的是各种拟人化的动物。画中展现了这些取代人类的动物在进化过程中遇到了与人类相似的问题，并通过自身的意志克服这些问题的过程。

在申树斌的《存在的理性意义》系列中，立体几何形体支配了画面的秩序。这些秩序不是偶然为之的，而是经过巧妙设计过的。依附于其上的动物与之构成了和谐的黄金分割比例，动物的形态与浮于天穹之上的几何框架形成了力学和图像意义上的平衡，仿佛构成了宇宙的秩序。艺术家塑造的钢筋水泥般的几何框架代表着恒定的秩序本身，而附着于其上的动物却在时刻运动，并通过意志的驱动，来确保世界的平衡。这种几何秩序好像某种生物进化遵循的生物链一般的结构，正是由于动物的不断移动和竞争，才使生物链得以完整，自然生态得以平衡。

水彩和水墨作品通过流动的水作为艺术观念传达的载体，水在画面上留下自然的痕迹，形成不加雕琢的画面气质。南朝谢赫在六法中首先提出“气韵生动”，这是水墨画的精神表象，传达的是东方的艺术观，申树斌的纸上作品继承传统绘画中的气韵，气表现的是空间，韵传达的是艺术的自然而然的状态。作品表现关于生命的存在状态，关于人类过去、现在和未来的思考。

Watercolor and ink works use flowing water as the vehicle for conveying artistic concepts. The water leaves natural traces on the painting, forming an unrefined image quality. In the Southern Dynasties, Xie He first proposed “Vital Rhythmic Flow” in the six methods. This is the spiritual representation of ink painting and conveys the oriental artistic concept. Shen Shubin’s works on paper inherit the aura of traditional paintings, expressing space, and conveying rhyme. The work expresses the state of life and the thinking about the past, present, and future of mankind.


在疫情的施虐下，人与人之间的关系变得疏离，不确定的未来索饶在每个人的内心，那个拯救人类的造物者在哪里?在洁白静穆的空间里，流动着生命的气息，凝固了生命的痕迹，生命的不确定性以玄幻的方式隐藏在作品背后，每个生命体浸润共生在流动的世界里，艺术的思考也正是基于生命的存在状态而产生的困惑和积极地思考。

Under the abuse of the epidemic, the relationship between people has become alienated, and the uncertain future is in everyone's heart. Where is the creator who saves mankind? In the white and quiet space, life is flowing. The breath solidifies the traces of life. The uncertainty of life is hidden behind the work mysteriously. Each life body is infiltrated and co-existed in the flowing world. The thinking of art is also based on the confusion and the existence of life and to think positively.
