即高炀作品欧洲巡回展“时间的日记”最后一站—北京，此展览在欧洲展览过五个城市，曾引起轰动，这次在北京亮相是第一次。“时间的日记”展示的不仅是将个人的情感记录抒发在绘画中，创造全新的视觉艺术及诗情意化的表达；同时也诠释了保护环境的社会责任感及人类对美的执着追求。
　　看过高炀作品的人都知道，无论是废弃的骰子、陶瓷碎片、抽过的烟头、甚至是晒干了的鸡蛋壳，这些有着不同质地，不同视觉的生活垃圾，在高炀的驾驭下，仿佛被赋予了第二次生命，这些被社会文明建设忽视和抛弃的物质残骸在“当代艺术作品”的画面中变得似乎陌生起来，令人兴趣盎然不禁充满好奇，而这些残存的生活垃圾也在向我们传递着生活环境被危害的严重性。
　　高炀置身于今天的生活环境，面对的是今天的现实，感悟的是今日社会生活的“当代性”，故他的作品就必然反映今天的时代特征，同时他也有追求人类和谐和美的权利。他在用自己的方式打动我们，他不是在说教，而是用一种很高级的艺术思维方式在和我们对话，和人类文明对话。

　　In Europe, Gao Yang's Diary of Time brought visual impact to five cities in its traveling exhibition, and the concluding show, as well as the last stop of the Europe traveling exhibition is in Beijing, the first time Gao Yang shows his art works to the capital. The Diary of Time displays not only the expression of his personal emotion, the visual art approaches featuring novel innovation and poetic splendor, but also the interpretation of his social responsibility for environmental protection and the aesthetics human beings are pursuing.
　　Those who have visited Gao-Yang's works all know, domestic garbage in different texture and visual image, no matter they are abandoned dice, pottery shards, cigarette butts, or even dried egg shells, is bestowed a second life under the magic dispatch of Gao Yang. Material debris neglected and abandoned during the building of social civilization seems to be different in the paintings of "modern art works", people become interested in and curious about them, at the same time, the residuals of daily garbage disseminate among us the severity of the affected living environment.
　　Since Gao Yang lives in a living environment of today, faces the reality of today and perceives the status quo of today's social life, his works are bound to reflect the "characteristics of today's society" and his legitimate rights to pursue harmony and aesthetics of the human beings. Rather than preaching, he uses his own way to impress us, to talk to us in a lofty artistic way of thinking and to have a dialogue with the human civilization.
