元青花在我国的瓷器界有非常重要的地位，是我国瓷器中璀璨夺目的一朵奇葩，因为它精湛的制作工艺、精美的图案加上取材是中国有名的故事图案主题，它在中国的瓷器史上一直占据着重要的地位。以其大气豪迈气概和艺术原创精神，将青花绘画艺术推向顶峰，确立了后世青花瓷的繁荣与长久不衰。

此藏品为元末明初时期“锦香亭螭龙耳青花大罐”，所绘场景出自元代著名剧作家王仲文的《孟月梅写恨锦香亭》，故事说的是唐玄宗时期才子佳人与孟月梅一段浪漫而曲折的爱情故事。其造型端庒、规整，青花色泽浓艳。口沿饰以江牙纹，肩饰缠枝牡丹纹且俯有螭龙耳，底以变体仰莲纹作辅饰。腹部则以锦香亭人物故事构成主题纹饰，衬以山石、亭台、花草树木。整个画面结构严谨，布局疏密有致，人物绘制栩栩如生，乃元明时期青花瓷中稀世珍品，其收藏价值不可估量。
